    Recipe Sub-forum idea...

I think this is a good idea. Some kind of Recipe Central would be good, to avoid having to sift through all the muck to find a particular flavor combo.

    protege with matching atomizer

Ahh, ok... It is a sort of optical illusion. The way the switch is positioned in that pic makes the Prodigy look as though it has some sort of extra black ring attached where the adapter would normally go... I had to zoom in the image to see that it was just an illusion.

    Protege+501 -vs- Protege+801

It's actually pretty easy to make menthol drops. Just use equal volumes of crystals and PG. For example, if you have 1 teaspoon of crystals, the amount of PG you'll need is also 1 teaspoon. I quickly wrote up a set of instructions for you... What you'll need: 1 clean (empty) e-liquid...

    protege with matching atomizer

Ok, I absolutely have to ask.... There is something different about your Prodigy, Kevin... What is that extra wide black piece just below the adapter? Rod

    Protege+501 -vs- Protege+801

lol... I too have produced some pretty nasty-tasting DIY experiments. Gotta be careful. Some flavor combos just do NOT work, lol. I hate to be wasteful, but there have been a few combos I had to throw out because I simply could NOT stand the result. As far as menthol goes, I only like the...

    Protege+501 -vs- Protege+801

I'm not sure why some of you are saying that the 801 on the Prodigy has too cool vapor and very little throat hit... Could it be the atomizers you're buying? I started with the 510 adapter on the Prodigy... and the vapor and throat hit are good... Too harsh at 6+ volts, but good and strong at...

    Life Span - Switch Assembly

Unfortunately, I've not had the luck when it comes to Prodigy V1 switch assemblies. I originally bought the Prodigy back in July, with switch and resistor. A month later, I bought a resistor-less switch. I barely used the resistor-less switch, as I found that it fried my 801 attys too...

    Glue to reattach spring?

Thanks for the fast response! Talk about service! Incidentally... any sort of tentative ETA on the Prodigy V2? I'd love to have one by Thanksgiving...

    Glue to reattach spring?

I was trying to stretch out my spring a bit, to hold the batteries a bit tighter in my Prodigy... and the spring popped off the end cap. What kind of glue is the best to use to reattach it?

Can we clear up the confusion with all these changes and new items?

I've noticed there's a lot of confusion brewing over the new stainless steel adapters, upcoming Prodigy V2, new and old versions of the Prodigy V1 and PS USB passthrough... so I'd like to pose a few questions directly to Steve, to clear the air so that we'll have a better grip on what to expect...

Will the Prodigy V2 use ProTEGE/PT adapters, or a new 3rd type of adapter?

There's been some talk that the new Prodigy V2 will use Protege/PT adapters. Is this true?

    Prodigy V2 Adapters

Casey, We are asking whether the new V2 adapters are the same as Protege/PT adapters, not V1 adapters.

    Prodigy V2 Adapters

Is it still the case that the new Prodigy V2 will use the same adapters as the Protege/PT? I want to order a 801 adapter, but only if the design specification for the V2 is finalized at least with respect to the adapters it will use... Steve?

    Prodigy V1 - NEW VERSION -

I think the Prodigy V1 "New Version" means that they will ship with the Stainless Steel adapter, as opposed to the aluminum ones.... so, you'll still be getting the old Prodigy V1, and not the upcoming smaller V2. Just my guess, though. Don't take my word for it.

Type of resistor in the Prodigy V1?

Good point. Me too. What about the switch?

Type of resistor in the Prodigy V1?

Thanks Cash... They also offer these lead-free ones: CPF2R50000FLE14 Vishay/Dale Metal Film Resistors Would they also work?

Type of resistor in the Prodigy V1?

I know that the resistor is 2 watt, 0.5 ohm... but what *type* of resistor is it? Is there a specific part number I can look for online? I'm just having trouble figuring out what kind of resistors to get, so that I can repair my Prodigy switches myself after the warranty runs out. I'm not...

A few questions about the new Prodigy...

Cool. Hopefully the new Prodigy V2 will be offered also as a base kit, as I have lots of fairly new RCR123a's and a couple chargers. Don't need to buy them again.

Make Prodigy into a multi-purpose device (Just some interesting ideas)

Nah... No offense to Steve, of course, but I don't think anyone needs to seek his permission to attach "unapproved" devices to the Prodigy. And no one really needs to get permission to make addons for it. It's their own money and time. In fact, making addons for it would only serve to boost...

    Best 801 Atty's to get? (And a warning about RuyanDirect's 801 atty's)

I'm sure I'm doing the same thing. I do tend to chain-vape.
