    very interesting. those that i have read that have tried it, treated like they did the hemp and ramie with the boils and baking. i'll probably just nuke it dry like i ended up doing with the hemp & ramie ... plus (in my li'l peabrain) nuking kills. ;-D

    i spread mine on a cookie sheet/jelly roll pan and baked at 225F for about 90minutes - turning & fluffing a bit every 20-30 minutes. worked great!

    funny you would mention that, after posting about using the forks, a dingDingDING went off in my head reminding me that i had one of those somewhere. i went on the search and found it. scrubbed in down with dish soap and tried it. it works good on the semi-dry and dry fiber, but the forks worked...

    i just used forks and treated the washed/boiled/rinsed/fiber like it was pulled pork to *fluff* it back up a bit and to help in the drying. i think i *processed* too much at one time. :-/ IF i ever have to go thru that again, it will be 1/2 a handful rather than 2 handfuls of the raw fiber.

    i just got notice last night that the 12-strand hemp i ordered many (5+???) weeks ago, from Lovepedal (Hemp Universe) off etsy, shipped. YAY! i don't see it on the site, but i would guess that she is busy filling back orders first before posting to her sites.
