    I think they are JUST sending cabled to vendors :/ probably have to send your nugget in for an update, from the sounds of it. I got a reply back from last night. I hate being wrong :(

    There is a file in the folder to install a driver so you don't need that cord. The issue is with the cord tho I beleive. They come with a "charging only cable"(2 pin), and from what I understand there are 3 different types of "data cables"(5 pin). Most device makers use the same "pin layout"...

    And people thought I was nuts when I said I prefer "wick channels" vs "juice channels" A wick can easily pull liquid up faster ;) I never owned a "standard" kayfun, only "monster" bases, and have no issues with keeping my wicks tucked into the channels.

    Last 4 digits of the software was in the 3000 zone I beleive. When I have access to the pc again, Il post it. I think my issue with updating is with Windows 10 and the stupid "8 seconds of connection" ,code on the nugget, before it disconnects from the pc.

    @cowfood I have a question for ya since you have a more recent firmware, if you can test it for me please. The nugget is my only tc mod, so I dont know alot about that subject. I left it in tc mode with the supplied tank, and then swapped to a rta with kanthal, completely forgot about tc mode...

    From your firmware version displayed in the picture, your 1910 updates ahead of my SS model ;) Nice to see yours came with ss tc, so it means they have finished it. When I email staff they cannot deny releasing the update "because it isn't finished" - there is proof!

    To answer the OP - yes it is "required" to have atleast 2 mods/batteries,more importantly FULL setups, if you have intentions on continuing to vape. Electronics, no mater who makes them can/will break, weather you caused it or not. Even atties can fail at some points, and it's good to atleast...
