i have a copper kraken and its great. I use it when I drive so I don't have to drip. My everyday gear is a cyclone and I am very happy with it so the kraken was a natural choice for me to try since it's made by the same company. No regrets
I agree about the trademarks and patent but what about authentics from other countries? It's extremely difficult to get a patent and sometimes even to get a visa to go the country you wish to apply for a patent is difficult as well. There should be a way to get around this or some...
There will always be risks but just think, if China keeps doing this and they probably will because the market supports it, the innovators may get tired of taking risks and just stop. What will happen to innovation?
Maybe a faster and more accessible patent system can cure this.
From a designers point of view cloning is wrong on so many levels.
First of all a lot of thought, research, time and trial and error goes into designing and manufacturing a product. That’s one thing that is stolen from you when your product is cloned. All cloners will do is replicate the...
When I started vaping I skipped the starters and cheap mods. I went to the good stuff right away. Got me an expensive box mod and dripper atty. The I realised I needed something for driving so I got me a tank. Then I got tired of switching attys so I got me another box mod for the tank...
I agree Fit Simulation and how I wish they were cheaper. I spent an arm and a leg for my first gear but it is what it is. At least I have no issues or regrets with my gear and still cigarette free.
Hi Gummy Bare, it's funny that I have never heard of the mods you mentioned. I have a vicious ant cyclone and kraken and ATB box mod Everine I know have no issues with it. I have only been vaping for about 2 months but my friends have been vaping for years on the same setup. I'll ask around...
I am from the Philippines and my gear is all authentic and made here except my charger and batteries which we don't really make here. I'm proud of the mods my country makes and the fact that we are known for producing good mods.
Just a few points...
1. Steel is not steel, It's a big business here in the Philippines to sell junk metals in bulk to china. Examples of which are old and even sunken ships and even
old pipes from demolished houses..
2. If you understand the time, effort and even money spent on R&D...
If the clone makers have the machinery and the know how, why don't they just create thier own brand and still sell it cheap instead copying others? All they have to do is alter the design a little and they are legally free from any patents. The basic principles are the same.
