    There will always be risks but just think, if China keeps doing this and they probably will because the market supports it, the innovators may get tired of taking risks and just stop. What will happen to innovation? Maybe a faster and more accessible patent system can cure this.

    I agree Fit Simulation and how I wish they were cheaper. I spent an arm and a leg for my first gear but it is what it is. At least I have no issues or regrets with my gear and still cigarette free.

    If the clone makers have the machinery and the know how, why don't they just create thier own brand and still sell it cheap instead copying others? All they have to do is alter the design a little and they are legally free from any patents. The basic principles are the same.
