    Got my Ba Gua yesterday. Yeah, those stock magnets are pretty stiff. Concerning the heating of magnets, yes, it will make them less strong, although on another forum people discussed that and the stiffness will return if I remember correctly. I will try the shim method and report back.

    You can buy Hangsen premixed or buy the flavoring and DIY it yourself. The flavoring is concentrated and not meant to vape by itself.

    I'm new to mech mods and asked a similar question on another forum. What he said above, also recommended was a fiberglass pen for (non plated) contacts. A lot of people also used Noalox for threads, etc.

    Yeah, the taste thing... don't get nutty from RY-1 either, just good/clean tobacco plumes. I add about 25% of USA-Red to my RY-1 mix to add a little more bite; not needed, just do. I've heard of other mixers people are using to add ashy notes, can't remember off hand.

    My Ba Gua/Arrow arrived in Chicago from Canada yesterday, so i should have mine soon. I"m sure I'll find the button too stiff as well. I'll probably try the template fix, but if you find 'softer' magnets do share. I'm not aware of such a thread, maybe start one?! That would be a nice option...

    100% pg?

    Same here, I'm a tobacco ADV kinda guy and I find that VG adds a level of sweetness I don't like. That and I don't have to worry about solid wicks/mods as PG has no trouble wicking w/ the traditional Genny setup I use.

    I do. I use a straw wick of 400 mesh, 3/4 wrap of 32g kanthal. Scott aka 'igetcha69' also uses 100% PG and has a lot of Gen videos, so you can check his setups out.

    It would shorten it by the thickness of the cardboard stock I reckon. Not sure if linking other forums is kosher or I would.
