Yup. Hoosier recommended that. Jimi, are you saying it's too strong for you? What % did you, if you did, settle at?

Have you tried it Michael? Anybody else use this flavor? Tell me how you like it please

Yes I have tried it and I'm at war with this flavor. There is a problem with it! I know I'm a rookie with no taste buds, but when you buy one bottle that tastes great and then the next one has no flavor :censored:

The short of it is this flavor suffers from severe flavor fade! I just got another bottle (it's my forth one) and there has been a formulation change with this one.

Uh boy. I just saw the other thread too. I'll skip it tonight. If 15% tastes bad and 10% tastes like tang. which my wife might like. I may e even start as low as 5% and go from there. Hmmm... Or maybe tang with a little fresh cream

Look at the ingredients on your bottle and see if it has Alcohol in it. If it does it will be an older lot and most likely poor to awful. I love this flavor when it's right! I would not have gotten another bottle, but my friend gave me $20.00 and said order another one with a message attached. This one is good and I can now make my Tangerine Spice Tea

Seems like Capella has strange batches period... SOmeone else was saying that they got a couple of bottles with little to no flavor... There's a whole thread about it. It's really bad for someone like me that has little to no experience with Capella. If you happen to get a bland batch, it turns you off... which I have been. Although, I have tried some that I like, I'm afraid to buy more because what happens when you get that flavorless bottle? It's virtually useless.

Chit! Mine has alcohol.

But either way I don't know if I want to try anything cappella's if they change up their formulas. Has anybody contacted them about this?

I would still try it, just be aware that it might or might not have a flavor issue.

I was mad because I thought I had done something wrong and trying to figure it out was frustrating.

The flavor compounds faded from the alcohol. Most of my VZ SC flavors did this after a year of sitting.

Thanks, The lot numbers on the ones that didn't have any flavor were older batches. The thing is I followed my recipe to the letter and didn't get the desired results and I didn't know why.

I went back to try Capella again. I ordered 4 flavors. Apple pie, blueberry crumble, cinnamon candy, and honeydew. The honeydew has the strongest aroma. Which should be the subtle one. That's a good indication that these flavors are old, or have been diluted. The honeydew is a new flavor, so that tells me the others are outdated. Sucks!

Question, I'm about to DIY some Raspberry for a friend's wife. Capella's was recommended here but he bought LorAnn's w/o me knowing it, so...

If my thread research is correct, anywhere from 10-20% is what most people mix w/ LorAnn fruit flavors? I was thinking about trying 15% for her Raspberry. I need to mix it tomorrow so let me know if I'm on the right track.

I never cared for LorAnn's flavoring. Too weak for my standards. Best thing to do is add the flavoring to pg, and taste as you add the flavoring.

Thanks, do you have a favorite raspberry? I've had Capella's recommended so far. ECX has a bunch of raspberry DIY flavors to choose from and I don't vape fruit, so it's foreign territory for me.
