I hardly ever get a good flavour from my vape, please help!

I'd agree, 4 is not enough, 6-8 wraps is the sweet spot for me. Up to 10 if gauge and diameter agree. Placement of air holes can make a big difference in a dripper. Sometimes from the side of coil shooting across puts out better than straight on. Depends on the atty.

    Joyetech Evic VT 60 Watt

I'd agree, it seems to work fine either way.. No problems unlocked. Also it clearly doesn't lock the resistance when you lock it as it still samples and changes based on ohm detection and will usually lower. Same atty simply keeps the algorithm it created, but It will eventually change on its...

I hardly ever get a good flavour from my vape, please help!

That one is 28g kanthal, 35-40w. Yes spaced coils only for me.. basic, simple coil on Rayon, rich Flavor, like drinking your juice... Rayon being the key. Also the coil closer to the air hole usually increases flavor... Lung hits increase the flavor... I don't go heavier than 26g, way too...

Flash-e-Vapor V2 rba by Artur Schwarze

Few changes there, different lower tank with slots, guess to hold the tank together.. the air tube is slotted open at the end, no glass tank - but steel.... The biggest thing I see is two penny's of copper... Thinking it is a wireless base! That's the copper contacts.

    Joyetech Evic VT 60 Watt

I believe I had to fire it with no atty a few times or possibly cycle the power to get consistent new atty question. I didn't change atties or builds too much. But at any rate it seemed to keep the atty baseline ohms regardless of if it were locked or not. Meaning the ohms change only showed if...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

No one else ever blew out the first hits before, just a new suggestion, so no worry! Just try it first! If you get the density remotely close it will be far better than cotton. You don't even know how much worse cotton tastes at break in. People never go back for a reason. By blow I mean...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Alright I'll have to jump in on this.. I happened to pull this evod out of the cabinet the other day. To fully decommission by stealing an oring for another project.. Been in there for almost 2 years, Still wicked up, believe it was . 8, 32g @1/6 for an ego. Just took the pic, so yeah the...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

To simplify... Coil density check and coloring of the wick tails is where you start in trouble shooting.

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Very nice picture grid. So many variables involved here.. Coil density and tails. Oversaturation is normal and more power is needed usually starting at +3w. But this is on a higher power scale. A Tighter wick density will help slow or thicker tails would help.. Sometimes changing the...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Yeah, after it's back acclimated in its warm environment. She's vaping just great, intense flavor from the juice. Dry hits if you happen to get them on a proper wick are inconsequential. No rewick needed.

Like today I had an issue. Stupid weather here, it was 65 the other day now we're back in winter Temps in the 30s. Well my juice is 94%vg and set for 50 and above. Well 30° turned it to molasses. And I accidentally fired the mod carrying it. Yep had a burnt taste, vaped it about 10 hits...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Yeah dry hit is like nothing compared to cotton, and it doesn't even kill it, the Rayon doesn't burn. The coil only overheats, your coil burned the juice to it. It will Taste burnt for a few hits them it clears up and it's good to keep going for weeks more. I have never got a dry hit and had...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

And yes firing the coil! One issue causing break in many times is contaminates from your hands. Skin oils are on the hands and quickly transfer to the rayon. Leaving a funky taste at break-in.. Anything else that may be on your skin.. Even washing with some soaps can leave a taste on the...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

It's a muted taste, less offensive than cotton that's one main reason many people switch. . You typically get the muted nutty taste when the wick is too tight.. Which happens... If the density is just right there's no taste. If you get a lot of taste it's too tight. Start at about 20% more...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Yeah, just don't blow too hard. Power down and blow gently just to break it in, or not. Many times what flooded with cotton will no longer flood with rayon, so it could be a non issue.. Or you can just fire before assembled a few times juicing it.. That gets messy though cause juice...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

It can be done without thinning if the wicks are very short or not longer than the edge of your deck... Anything longer or where you bend the whole wick you should make a relief cut or thin it at the bend. The benefit is faster wicking and less ebb and flow in the wick.. Also more efficient...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Of course it depends if you were an expert cotton wicker, or if you typically over packed cotton, and how tight you did your cotton wick... In the beginning, users coming from cotton, the problem was under stuffing rayon. We've made it very clear that it needs more and some initially do pack...
