I hardly ever get a good flavour from my vape, please help!
I'd agree, 4 is not enough, 6-8 wraps is the sweet spot for me. Up to 10 if gauge and diameter agree. Placement of air holes can make a big difference in a dripper. Sometimes from the side of coil shooting across puts out better than straight on. Depends on the atty. -

I'd agree, it seems to work fine either way.. No problems unlocked. Also it clearly doesn't lock the resistance when you lock it as it still samples and changes based on ohm detection and will usually lower. Same atty simply keeps the algorithm it created, but It will eventually change on its... -

That one is 28g kanthal, 35-40w. Yes spaced coils only for me.. basic, simple coil on Rayon, rich Flavor, like drinking your juice... Rayon being the key. Also the coil closer to the air hole usually increases flavor... Lung hits increase the flavor... I don't go heavier than 26g, way too... -

Few changes there, different lower tank with slots, guess to hold the tank together.. the air tube is slotted open at the end, no glass tank - but steel.... The biggest thing I see is two penny's of copper... Thinking it is a wireless base! That's the copper contacts. -

I believe I had to fire it with no atty a few times or possibly cycle the power to get consistent new atty question. I didn't change atties or builds too much. Yeah, after it's back acclimated in its warm environment. She's vaping just great, intense flavor from the juice. Dry hits if you happen to get them on a proper wick are inconsequential. No rewick needed.- JeremyR

Like today I had an issue. Stupid weather here, it was 65 the other day now we're back in winter Temps in the 30s. Well my juice is 94%vg and set for 50 and above. Well 30° turned it to molasses. And I accidentally fired the mod carrying it. Yep had a burnt taste, vaped it about 10 hits...- JeremyR

Yeah dry hit is like nothing compared to cotton, and it doesn't even kill it, the Rayon doesn't burn. The coil only overheats, your coil burned the juice to it. And yes firing the coil! One issue causing break in many times is contaminates from your hands. Skin oils are on the hands and quickly transfer to the rayon. Leaving a funky taste at break-in.. Anything else that may be on your skin.. Even washing with some soaps can leave a taste on the...- JeremyR

It's a muted taste, less offensive than cotton that's one main reason many people switch. . You typically get the muted nutty taste when the wick is too tight.. Which happens... Yeah, just don't blow too hard. Power down and blow gently just to break it in, or not. Many times what flooded with cotton will no longer flood with rayon, so it could be a non issue.. Or you can just fire before assembled a few times juicing it.. That gets messy though cause juice...- JeremyR

It can be done without thinning if the wicks are very short or not longer than the edge of your deck... Anything longer or where you bend the whole wick you should make a relief cut or thin it at the bend. The benefit is faster wicking and less ebb and flow in the wick.. Also more efficient...- JeremyR
