I believe you have to have the CL base- the body of the eGrip appears the same and I can't imagine Joyetech making different versions of the body. Maybe they will start selling the CL base separately too, like they do the RBA base. -

I have also joined the OLED family! I love this thing!! I also cut out the cover with an exacto knife. One word on this- you don't have to get the opening as wide as the screen- go smaller...the lit part is narrower than the actual window! I also have leather covers that I used with my older... -

Egrip OLED problem
I have both eGrips- Just got a new OLED about a week ago- I find no difference in the way the air flows. My only complaint is that the OLED I got has a fairly loose round dial...it rattles... but I suppose I can live with that unless it falls off. -
