Kayfun Lite Flooding - Russian 91%

Got back at it. Now at 1.65, and I tightened up the coil, and pulled some of the cotton out of the wick. Much better, but not quite there. I also replaced the ridiculous post screw mine came with. The head was so small, it wouldn't grab the wire. The new one is the slotted head. Sure glad...

Kayfun Lite Flooding - Russian 91%

Here's the 2nd try. 28ga., and with less cotton. Better, but still too wet. (Prior coil was 30ga.) Also, these are the worst threads I've ever encountered. Need to give up for today. Too many other things to get done today.

Kayfun Lite Flooding - Russian 91%

Yes, I've noticed the "Russian" problem, as Svoemetso is Russian. From what I've seen, "Russian 91%" is the clone, and Svoemetso is the original. (Ignoring the other ones.) OK, that's what I was figuring. Don't want to open the airflow too much though. I enjoy the long battery life I get at...

Kayfun Lite Flooding - Russian 91%

Mine is a Russian 91%. I'm running 1.8 on a mech, so 3.7V nominal. Oh, I should add that I'm using DIY, 60%VG.

Kayfun Lite Flooding - Russian 91%

Just got a Kayfun Lite. Set it up based on this video: Kayfun 3.1 | How to Wick & Fill - Easy! | NO LEAKS NO GURGLING | 2vaped.com - YouTube And it vapes very wet, like the coils is flooded, and juice leaks out the air hole. I probably have a little more cotton in my wick than he does, but...

    Kayfun (clone) questions

What kind of multimeter? Unless it's very high-end, I wouldn't trust fractional resistance measuements, without digging up the specs and verifying it. I have a Fluke 115 -- appx $130 meter, low end of Fluke's "electronics" line. It doesn't do small resistance measurements with high accuracy...

I remember back in the day...

Wow, great thread. Haven't read the whole thing -- just found it, so no time. But I remember most of what people have been talking about, if it happened after I started vaping. Yeah, pretty funny remembering some of that stuff. I started on a 510, with aquarium filter media for filler in the...

It Looked Like a Nova Head -- 1st Impression

I think the Rivas just weren't up to the extra current draw. No matter now. Thanks for checking on the eGo. I haven't checked resistance on gunky coils. I'll check next I have a DIY on its last legs. If it drops, and stays low even after cleaning, that implies a metallurgical event, such as a...

It Looked Like a Nova Head -- 1st Impression

I'd change it to It Looked Like a Nova Head -- 1st Impression. :) Waaay back, I had trouble running Cisco 1.8 atties on an eGo 900mAH, and burned up 2 Rivas. So, I'm paranoid. He just started vaping again, after giving up and going back to burners for a while, so I don't want to cause...

It Looked Like a Nova Head -- 1st Impression

Indeed. I've never looked at Smok tanks. I think my upstairs neighbor has one. I can give them to him, if an eGo-T will drive 1.8 without any issues. Thx, Keela. I'd change the thread title, if I could.

It Looked Like a Nova Head -- 1st Impression

Well ... Turns out the top cap did come apart, I just didn't notice it right away - the top of the head just chewed right through the silicon. But the easy fix is to use the top cap from an older head, with that metal ring thing removed, and toss out the little spikey tube. Or that's...

Half OFF Unitank Regular & MIni Use Pro Tank Heads

Any thoughts on how they perform, vs. the Aspire BDC, or the Mini-Nova? I didn't like the Aspire, mostly because of the bottom-fill. I've been using 1.8 heads on the Nova for over a year. I see the ProTank heads come in 1.8, so I'm tempted to try. Kind of on the fence, thinking of trying a RBA...

Not sure when these came out, but I just broke into the package (ordered on the 6th). I've been rebuilding mine, but I buy new ones sometimes too. I have the 1.8 ohm. These vape well. Good draw, good vape production. But they're a bit long. When I replace the top cap, I can feel it contacting...

    Parker, Commerce City e-Cig action

Parker, Commerce City pursue limits on e-cigarette use I see these things pop up in my RSS reader, but only after the fact. I have to see anything come up before the action of interest has already happened.
