I don't have any recommendations for a battery with a durable wrap as all weren't made for this kind of use. :-) Two battery mod? At 80W you're running at 40W per battery and can use 30Q's, VTC6's, or HG2's.- Mooch

At 15W or 1.2 ohms in a mech the NCR18650GA's are your best choice with VTC6's, 30Q's, or HG2's being a good second choice. But if you need button top batteries they might be hard to find in a button top version. Try www.imrbatteries.com- Mooch

I don't know the condition of your batteries but assuming they have been well cared for you can use them up to about 75W each. What is making you worried about them now if they have been working well, without issues?- Mooch
