My coils are changing ohms just by taking off the cap or taking the unit on and off my device. I thought it was the center post not making proper contact since it "floats" due to design flaw. ( china knock off DID). My guess is shorts somewhere in the wick/coil are causing the ohms to jump up...

So if I get it, the best way to build a Geneisus coil for a "big batt tube" mechanical PV is to stay with low ohms (under 2.2) if I'm running 3.7 volts. That way the coils will heat up quicker? Is this close to being on the right path to best results??

Does always turning off the ego twist between using help life span or just wear out the switch sooner?
