The midi is designed to take 2 x CR2's as well which are inherently longer than any 14500 hence the extra length. The adjustable switch should take out any discrepancies though as you mention. :)

Yes the Darwin is proving a very elusive beast - I'm very sorry about all the delays which we unfortunately have no control over and hope that we can have more available at least end of March/Beginning of April.

You're right Ande and thats why we designed both Mako and Megalodon so that they can be stood upright with ease and of course the locking switch means that it won't accidentally set off. :)
