Your problem reminded me of a time I had similar symptoms - I had swollen tongue, mouth irritations, etc. No one - my GP or Dentist - could figure it out. Then I just started eliminating certain things .. I finally got to my chewing gum - only cinnamon! (loved it!). And that made it go away...

Vaping was enough to get me through the morning. I also hand rolled some fine tobacco and to this day miss it dearly - BUT I don't miss the chest congestion that it gave me and the constant coughing. Just keep reminding yourself why you are quitting cigs. Like anything else - sugar, drugs...
