Hi all, I over tightened the hollow center post/screw that threads up into the deck to the positive block on my Russian. Have you heard of or come across anyone selling parts for the Russian? Desperate to find this I just can't spring for a new Russian. thanks for any help you can offer. Jerry

I know another $40 or $50 is not a small amount but do yourself a favor and get a KFL+ or a Russin 91%. You will not regret you did. With this kind of device, the difference between good machining and build quality will pay off and give you a great experience.

Very good points, I just built a .8 ohm coil and the vape is extremely warm compared to the 1.3 I was running. Completely different vape. When using the mech it's a game of experimentation to get dial it in. Going to enjoy this coil for a while. What is you coil preference?

What gauge silica do you use?

There was a guy on ebay, lightning vapes I think that I bought 7' of wick plus 25' of Kanthal for something like $6 shipped. More then enough to get you going for a while Lord.

I bought 7 feet of 2mm silica to start, you only need about 3 - 4 inches per coil and that gives you lots of excess.

That's just me because I was experimenting and changing juice. Give this a try you could get a few days out of it. It is really easy to rework on a solid micro coil. This was my first attempt, needed to push it down further to get the excess on top into the coil:
