I bought 2 of the Rex kits, read and black. Both live up to the Voopoo name, hard hitting little dudes. Only con I have so far is that I wish that they came with color coordinated tanks. Not knocking the tank itself, great tank and coils, just would like something other than black.
In my case, the smokes did it FOR me. It was a little over a week into vaping (after smoking for nearly 50 yrs.) that I went out on the porch to have that first smoke after eating b'fast. It made me sick as a dog all day and I haven't had one since. One day, you'll light one up and it will taste...
my favorite tank setup is my little IPV mini V2 70 watt topped with a Vapeston Maganus tank. Great airflow, flavor, vapor production and will handle way more watts than the IPV will push. At 60 watts is smooth as silk!!
I don't understand why you want to DIY by weight when just about the whole vape world mixes by percentages. Why spend the money on a scale when a few syringes are dirt cheap. Good luck with your quest if you are that determined.
Here's what I did: Ordered the Panzer springs from FatDaddys along with a V4 510 connector. Replaced the 510 and spring and it hits like a beast now. Be sure to leave the plastic ring on top when replacing the 510. I posted a video on the FatdaddyVApes webpage if you're interested.
I went thru the same thing with my wife. I attributed it to her not wanting me to quit a shared activity. I'm nearing 2 years smoke free now and she's still hitting the smokes. She STILL does the hand waving, hacking thing when a little vape drifts her way. Keep the faith and keep vaping!!
I looked at them side by side this past Saturday and they are identical, even the packaging. Only difference was the Starr coil was rated from 20W to 100W while the Maganus was rated from 20W to 150W. One more minor thing, the Starr came with a spare .25Ω coil while the Maganus came with a spare...
I just saw the Starr yesterday and they are identical, side by side. The Starr only sez to 100 watts and the Maganus sez 150 watts. I looked closely at them both and couldn't tell a bit of difference except for the laser engraving of the name.
No magnets, but I did take it apart and clean the built up gunk out of it, smooth as silk now. Did the same on the door and put on a thin layer of 3 in 1 oil.
Have a look at the Vapeston Maganus tank. Vape anywhere from 20 to 150 watts.....beast!! Massive airflow, massive juice holes in the coils, massive vapor and flavor production. 75 watts is the sweet spot for me. Big vapor........wow!!
