I run the snugged up contact coils for wick coverage and vapor density but they do get much easier to keep stable when wicking if they are snugged up. The larger 3mm coils help too around 80-90 watts at ~.2Ω on my parallel box so yeah its basically wick coverage basically- etherealink

Try to trim the ends of the wick after wicking to look like cheerleaders pony tails, it helps improve the...- etherealink
