    Battery Voltages -- Surprise!

One lesson that I have learned is to not trust "loaded" numbers on a PWM device unless they were determined by a True RMS device.. and I mean a "True RMS" device, not one that does a RMS calculation based on the 60Hz sine wave algorithm. But I digress.

    Battery Voltages -- Surprise!

Your "thinking" is consistent with what I am seeing with the unit. LED bar graph connected directly to the cell output, showing raw cell voltage (ergo: remaining capacity), and then three selectable PWM algorithms.... with the highest setting perhaps having no pulses at all.

    Battery Voltages -- Surprise!

Sorry guys... haven't followed this thread in a long, long time and I apologize if I am commenting on some old news. Didn't know if you had seen one yet, but I just got the "new" Eastmall "Riva" battery. This unit has a "5-click" feature which adjusts the PWM, allowing for three different...

    Riva Various Voltage Kits

Di, Which specific atties are you talking about? And as a follow up on the batteries... I have charged and run a couple of them back down. Also did some quick load testing. And I can confirm that they do indeed have 3 unique power settings. And yes, the 5-LED bar graph on the end of the...

    Riva Various Voltage Kits

OK.... I got my Riva-T kits in today and they had the new batteries. I was a bit surprised since my Riva-T evaluation kit had standard Riva batteries. These batteries are a trip! You failed to mention that they also have a 5-LED bar graph display on them. Not exactly sure what it does yet...

    Riva-t

Awwwww shucks. Actually, I'm not "good"..... I'm just verbose and have decent longevity. Anyway... as much as I loath staying "on topic", I feel compelled. Don't ask why. I don't know. Nobody knows. My initial impressions of the Riva-T are starting to wane. While it/they worked great for...

Riva -T starter kits with 2ml liquid atomizer

I'm surprised and pleased with the evaluation unit that I received. Nice fit and finish (although the threading was off on one of the batteries) and good consistency between the two "atomizers". Filling was easy with the supplied needle bottle. I received both a "whistle tip" and a round...

Type B eGo-T Atomizers are here

Sorry for the delay. Received my tanks on Saturday and have been vaping on the B-tank since then. With the obvious exception of more liquid capacity, I don't see a big difference in performance between the "B" and the standard tank unit. Perhaps a bit more vapor production..... but that...

Type B eGo-T Atomizers are here

Welllllll..... I've got the atty..... but I don't have the TANK! <sigh> Pretty sure that I'll have the tank come tomorrow. Yes... I can stick the "type A" tank on it and give it a go... but that just wouldn't be "right", now would it?? ;) I'll certainly update the thread when I have my...

Happy/Unhappy eGo-T Users: What juice are/were you using?

Generally speaking, due to the design they tend to leak when the tank is less than half full, not when it is more than half full... just an FYI. As far as juice is concerned, my BWB Menthol Light has been a great liquid in the "T". Doesn't gunk it up and I have yet to clean an atty using this...

eGo-T first impressions: this could be love!

My VG based juice gunks them up after a while (I run the LR atty for that liquid), but my cleaning system has worked almost flawlessly. I run BWB (primarily PG) in the "standard" unit, and much to my surprise and delight.. it just keeps on chugging. Many, many weeks now.... no cleanings.. no...

    New wick for eGo-T

If you say so. But Joye (and just about everybody else) refers to it as "nickel mesh". OK... you're right. If it is not touching the coil then you're fine. Of course the original wick DOES touch the coil and I'm surprised that you're getting good results with the air gap between the wicking...
