And this vendor claims version 3 ego-t atty

BreezEsmokes - Premium Electronic Cigarettes

I was about to place an order here for their Riva 1100 kit for the batteries and some other spare parts when I came across the 3rd gen eGo items.

Has anyone had experience with these or any other 3rd gen tank systems? Know what improvements have been made to the 3rd gen? (If any?)

Thanks much. :)

.......... my patience will return when I get hands on the spare batt I left charging at home.

<giggle> My wife just called while I was reading this. She wanted to know if I'd bring her spare battery to her at work. I'm out the door!!! I've done it myself a few times.

Hope you make it home in one piece Turnkeys.:(

Hehehe, Just ordered one Black Atty to go with my 1000 mAh eGo-T battery and one pack of Black/Smoke Colored Tanks :D Gonna give these a try and see how well they work for me, Twice the liquid can be nothing but good as far as I am concerned and it was only 28 bucks so even if they are not as good as I expect they will be I am only out a few bucks :D

I have the opposite problem. I have never gotten a burnt taste. I've been using the same atomizer for 6 weeks. My problem is having juice all over the outside of the tank when I pull it out. It doesn't always do it and I can't figure out what causes it. Sometimes the tank can be dry when I pull it out and the next time all wet....on the same tank of juice. I just put it back in and end up wiping it off every few minutes or so.

Just stop worrying... You should simply let go and "believe"...

BELIEVE it wont wick...

This mind-over-matter approach may not work 100% of the times, but it seems to be as effective as many mods to solve the problems out there (specially if you are such a bad modder as me...!)

Concentrate and have faith!

Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Mesa, AZ...off the analogs for years!
One of my T's was going strong for a month and suddenly became a horrible leaker. Pulled the plate and there were but a few wee strands of wick sitting on the coil. Well, no wonder if leaked like a sieve.

A couple had popped on me when they were fairly new. So I pulled the plate/wick off of a dead one, cleaned the wick, cleaned and dry burned the older leaker, put the plate/wick on from the dead one and voila...good as new.

So keep those newer ones that pop and reuse the plate/wick. Always recycle!

Good idea Neo. I think the plate & wick should be available as a spare part really. I'd pay $2 for it (hehe).

But really, these things have a much better lifespan than first anticipated IF you get a good one (which seems to becoming more the 'norm', thank goodness). And if you keep these for any length of time your going to need a wick replacement.

I've replace the wick on one of mine 3 times and another twice, but was stuck with using cutoffs from CE2's that I have done PTB mods on. They work but only just adequately. The wick from my first dead clearomizer is working a little better though. I am still using the original two I started with, and its coming up to 6 weeks now.

The new 'fat wick' clearo's and CE2's might be worth a try.
