Think I solved it. I built a set yesterday out of 30g kanthal twisted with .5x.1ribbon wire. Ten wraps, 2.4 mm, reading at .91. So far no bad taste and it's been much longer than normal.

No, I am building with ni200. The highest dual coil I've been able to get is .23 with 20 wraps of 30g ni200 around a 5/32 drill bit. Running in single i can get around .45. If you know how to make one ohm dual coils with ni200, please do tell.

Anyone know of a good two post atty for single coil setups? Preferably with a removable top cap like the tobh has.

Is titanium wire lower or higher resistance than ni200? I can't for the life of me get a decent resistance out of Nickel without doing 20 wraps of 30g on a 1/8 drill bit, which is painstakingly tedious. Been running my tobh in single coil to get the resistance I want but it's just not the same.

Second attempt at spaced ni200 coils. 10 wraps, Japanese cotton on a 1/8 drill bit. Reading at 0.09 ohms and running it at 480° F 40 watts. Thoughts, suggestions?

The VaporShark rDNA40 will come with an LG HE2 hybrid IMR battery. This battery is a 35amp 2500 mAh. More than enough to run at 40 watts, no need to replace it. Last I heard, the rDNA40 will ship out on the 28th of this month.
