Yeah, just dripping it into the filler has always worked out to be super wasteful for me. I've never tried a drip tip. I live Northeast of Dallas. We were born in the same year, too. :-)

I'm now down to my last one. These are not refilling well at all....I don't understand what the problem is.

Sometimes I fill them up, they taste fantastic, they last a while, etc. Sometimes I fill them up, they leak everywhere. Sometimes I fill them up, and they taste like crap from the first drag.

I bought 5 packs of 5. I have less than one pack left.

I'm using V4L XL batteries. I don't think the batteries are an issue because even if I fill them up and set them on the counter...if they're going to leak, they leak...sometimes before they even touch a battery. I'd say I'm having this issue 75% of the time.

I didn't read the whole thread, but are there any plans to carry 36 mg juice? 24 just doesn't do it for me.
