Except the USB port doesn't put out 11.1 volts. The charger will probably drop the supplied 5v to 4.2 at 1 amp, divided by 3 cells is 333mah per cell. So the charger is putting out close to its advertised 1 amp. If the charger was only putting out 400mah they wouldn't advertise it as 1 amp.

Personally I wouldn't worry too much about possible hardware revisions, in the unlikely event of an actual physical fault then you can return it. I don't have a lot of disposable income to splash on mods, but as soon as I heard of the dna200 I ordered a chip, built my mod and didn't look back...

Mine was giving me a shorted message with a 0.035 ni200 build. It still worked, with a delay, same experience as the "ohms too low" on the dna40. Giving low power while message is displayed, then as resistance reaches an acceptable level it would fire normally. Haven't tried another build that...

Just for reference, mine uses a 1400mah (15.54 wh) turnigy multistar lipo and can get through 20ml at 50 watts in the billow 2 on a single charge :) that's a dual 26 gauge titanium build in temp mode.

Does anyone know the resistance the dna200 will actually operate down to? I don't recall seeing it anywhere. Should be able to start building mine any day now :D been staring at the chip since Wednesday!

The design is a compromise. The thickness of juices varies massively, so drilling it out will probably optimise it for heavy vg juices. I'm sure it will work if you wick it right I'd definitely say it would be worth a go. If you can't get it wicking well with the standard holes that is.

I don't think a heat resistant drip tip will help you a great deal as it won't cool the vapour down, the Subtank gives a warm Vape by design. I think your best bet would be a drip tip with airflow holes, so the warm Vape will mix with cool air as you inhale. Either that or a long drip tip as...
