Maybe I'm missing something, mine has no outer seal (or o-ring) in the top cap. Bothered me from day one, that they would use metal to metal to seal fill cap. Other wise great tank. I get occasional leaks out air holes (not as bad as subtank mini). What PG/VG ratios are you folks using.

Just a tip. I increase watts as coil ages, and use a needle in the coil juice hole to slightly open a mall hole.
