Thanks for the response. Not sure what "bump" for an answer means but I'm thinking the initial 200degrees setting is too low for SS so I'm going to try some different settings (temp, watt output, etc...) and see if that makes a difference. Will post a reply if I find an answer for anyone that...

Just got one...came with sleeve. Make sure device is off and locked when you put it on cuz it's a pain to fit properly w/o hitting the firing bar a million times. Wish the sleeve was a little thicker too but hey, at least it came with one! "E" for effort
