The IMRs have no protection circuitry since the chemistry doesn't lead to fiery failure modes. Pretty amazing that you can put a short circuit across them (for a moment at least) and they keep ticking.

So i've had to take a break from vaping for a while, something vaping related (i think) caused my lips to get very "chapped", but not exaclty chapped, burningly irritated along with dryness is more accurate. Been off the vape since last friday... snus'ing instead to get the nic fix. I'm not...

I think the drip-tips may be the culprit in my case too! When using rubberized 801 tips... no problem... but with the derlin drip tips, i've been having problems.

Hey... thnx for the explanation about de-wicking! It wasn't clear to me what was being removed before reading it. I always thought that the wick running thru the coil was yanked out (and that just didn't seem right to me). I haven't tried de-wicking yet, but eventually I'll take a closer look in...

Even if they don't end up replacing the 801 as my primary atty... these will make great backup attys... so tiny and easy to stash here and there.

I had always read that the 306 has better flavor than the 510. Yup... it does. Most attys seem to have better flavor than the 510 for some reason.

There was no website... it was order by email (or ecf forum post) and send a check (or maybe paypal)... but i waited until there was a site to sample the goods.

Anybody else try this atty yet? I hadn't tried a 306 yet and the combo driptip + atty deal was staring me in the face on my last BWB liquid order so I picked one up. Geez... the tiniest little thing compared to my usual 801s... but its cranking out flavorful vapor like a champ. Liking it so...

You really have doubts as to the truth of the matter of UBL's demise? I'm sure they'll release photos eventually, but i'm not so morbidly curious as to need to see them to be convinced. Actually given how easy it is to doctor images up, an image released to the press really doesn't "prove" much...
