I was mostly supportive of the belief he was killed. I am VERY disappointed the evidence has not been released. The american people deserve the proof.
Any way you look at it, dead or not, it is now being used as a distraction technique. Our country is in crisis. Politicians want us to forget that our country is failing financially.

Peach is good to go right from the start but does get a little better with time.

You really have doubts as to the truth of the matter of UBL's demise? I'm sure they'll release photos eventually, but i'm not so morbidly curious as to need to see them to be convinced. Actually given how easy it is to doctor images up, an image released to the press really doesn't "prove" much anyway.
As for the distractions... UBLs demise happened when it did. The timing wasn't chosen by the "politicians". And if you wanted to point fingers at an agency for neglecting other news of the day... try the "media"... they decide what the headlines are and what gets airtime.
But personally, I think the UBL news is momentously newsworthy and appreciate the media coverage (i read news on the inernet and don't watch the 24/7 news channels). And I don't think anyone has forgotten about the never ending budget deficits.
I disagree with the news controlling whats played, our govt controls alot of it and only give the info they want put out. Media is controlled by the Govt
This I am going to completely agree with. It's not some sort of conspiricy theory - if whomever is in charge of this country doesn't want it on the air, it's not going to happen.
I do wonder what else will 'pop' up when this business has settled.
We get fed what they want us to hear, nothing more and nothing less. how about years ago when the brain washing flashes came accross the tv, was it the media doing it then, somehow I dont think so
"They" certainly have a lot of influence on some topics (especially for those where the govt is the source of the info)... but not so much on others... and they do try to arrange to be the "source" on some topics (think embedded war correspondents)... and they do play game with some of the official statistics (think CPI and inflation rates).
But on the whole, we really are a free people with a free press... at least that's how i see it.... watergate, pentagon papers, wikileaks come to mind.
Could be better but we could do a lot worse too... anyway, i don't mean to pick a fight... God Bless America!
Back OT, the new juice looks interesting, may have to give that a try on my next order.
