Coil friendly DIY concentrates without sweeteners?

Thanks for your replies! I've tried The Flavors Apprentice and FlavourArt. They are really not sweet and coil friendly. And can be diluted at low percentage. I'm still open for other suggestions ...

The coil heats from one side first

Is it possible the heating of the coil to begin from one side to be caused of a bad connection of the parts of the tank? (Though I reassemble it once.) I ask because I made and insert new coils two times and it's the same.

The coil heats from one side first

Many thanks for your replies and support! The coil is spaced and there are no hot spots. I see from your posts (and from my experience) that to dry burn a SS coil is OK if done properly. But I think that the suggestion from @Mordacai who said: is more likely to be true and the solution of the...

The coil heats from one side first

I always dry burn my SS coil, but at low wattage, pulsating and avoiding glowing as a light bulb As far as I know titanium has not to be dry burned, but why not SS?! I used to vape in TC mode but VW is giving me quite more rich, dense and strong taste of the vapor

The coil heats from one side first

I use 28ga SS and never had an issue .... till now I've tried kanthal in the past but may be I prefer SS for its cleaner taste To be honest - no big difference for me

The coil heats from one side first

Hi, @Mordacai! And thanks for the fast reply! I thought of this too. So I have to be careful not to tighten the coil to the posts too hard? And to beware not to damage the coil while handling it? If so, I hope these would be enough for the coil to heat evenly and it's not some deep problem...

The coil heats from one side first

Hello, people! My build is with one coil: SS316L, 28ga, 2.5mm, 7 wraps, 0.64ohm, 12w, spaced, on Bishop RTA. The problem is that the coil heats from one side first! This is at the beginning, then, after a moment, as it should - from inside out. This happens when the coil is cold. When it has...

What is Eleaf iStick Pico (75w/Plus) real wattage

@DavidOck, @UncleJunkle, thank you for the replies! :thumb: I usually refer to steam-engine how is the optimal power for my build, cause I like hot vapor and that's why I'd like to know what's the maximum watts as a rule, but eventually I set them by testing in practice. I have both, the...

Hi, guys! I wonder what is the real wattage/power of Pico mod delivered to the coil. And how much wats is the variation? (With 0.7ohm and 13w on screen, for instance) Best regards!

    Changing mtl resistance

Hello, comrades Finally, as I had free time, patience and $1 for 1m wire, I decided to do the experiment and to build my beloved Dvarw with: 2.5mm coil, kanthal a1, 27ga, 6wraps, 0.9ohms, 16 watts, 3.8 volts And, as you all kindly warned me, I found no difference in overall performance and...

    Changing mtl resistance

Hello, guys and many thanks for your useful and informative replies  As long as I understand my present build is not so bad and I won't taste big difference of the change I asked about So maybe one fused clapton Ni80 2x29/40, 2.5mm, ~0.9ohm, 6-7wraps will do a good job I only wonder...

    Changing mtl resistance

I'll bear this in mind I used to vape with TC, that is why I'm using SS, but it's in the past, cause I found that with VW mode the taste of the aromas is richer. So I don't need wires for TC any more

    Changing mtl resistance

Hello, guys! I'm asking for advice Now I use: 2.5mm, 28ga, SS316L, 7wraps, 0.7ohm But I think of switching to: 2.5mm, 28ga, Ni80, 7 wraps, ~ 1ohm. What is going to be the difference? (except: less vapor, shorter ramp up time, power save) Will it taste better? Does this experiment make any...

    Dvarw v2 dry hits

Hi and thanks for your replies! @ShowMeTwice, after your post, I remembered that I began to get dry hits after I started filling to the very top. And when I tried leaving bigger air pocket the dry hits are gone. So your first advice fixed the problem! You rock, man, thank you! :thumb: It's...

    Dvarw v2 dry hits

Hello, guys! I need again your opinions on this new vape issue. I have a Dvarw v2 with top fill Steam Tunners cap for almost a year. I learned how to build it and wick it. Close the juice control when filling and so on. Everything seemed ok and then, a couple of weeks ago, without any...
