Whats the rule for rampup time?

That's it. But a complex coil, like a tri-core fused clapton / alien with 3*26G will ramp up roughly as slow as 20G.

Whats the rule for rampup time?

Quite the opposite. As diagrammatiks said, more coil mass = more ramp up time. It also means it'll take longer to cool down. So thicker wire or more complex builds will need more power (watts) and take longer to heat up, but will also produce more vapor. Edit : I read your post wrong, so it's...

So I have to MTL for a couple days..

Reminds me of my gf at home, who hates it when the living room gets all foggy, and since winter is coming, opening the windows to clear the air is no longer a decent option. My solution was to get a Berserker Mini RTA, great little MTL tank, using some salt nic to mix juice at roughly 16 to 18...

    hi guys, new here

12mg/ml with a sub-ohm tank is a bad idea, that's a lot of nicotine... I vape 2mg/ml, and used to smoke a pack a day up until April. The more nicotine, the harsher the vape will be. But, the bigger the clouds, the more nicotined vapor you produce. 12mg/ml is fine for non-cloudy devices, but with...

    Mesh coils

Then don't try it. And when you actually feel like trying it, guess what... Try it.

    Mesh coils

No it's horrible you shouldn't do it! I'm joking. Whatever works for you is a "good setting", there's no good or bad, that's relative to YOU. You can always ask what people like and what they don't like, but you can't know for yourself until you try it. To get back to the main topic, some...

    Mesh coils

With any other mod you'd burn yourself at 130W also. With your build. I can vape my build at 150W it'll be a warm dense vape, but I won't burn myself. And my mod fires up to 200W accurately.

    Mesh coils

If you still love your .403 build, you're nowhere near what a mech would put out. A single battery mech would get to roughly 34W, a series mech would be around the 130W mark.

How often do you clean your contacts?

I didn't try the polish before sandpaper, dunno how effective this will be for arching marks. I'll try it next time!

How often do you clean your contacts?

It seems I've found my routine, 3 to 4 days of use are enough to feel the vape getting weaker, I rub it gently on a 1000 grit sandpaper, and it'll easily take any arching off. The cell's top contact is harder to really clean, I'm yet to try and find something more efficient (may try 1500 grit...

Aequitas, Dead Rabbit, or Drop Dead?

I actually was asking for feedbacks on the Aequitas RDA. I'm not new to building ;)

How often do you clean your contacts?

I actually looked for an eraser but I don't have any at home (or any that I can find). The one thing that reassures me is that arching since the cleaning has mostly happened where the plate has been removed, which makes me think that this is probably the part that made contact, and it hits just...

How often do you clean your contacts?

Follow up : I didn't receive the micro-fiber towels yet, so I didn't polish anything. I do have the sand paper though, so I gently scrubbed the contact pin with 1000 grit, got rid of the arching marks really well. I think it also took some of the plating off around the edges though, but not...

How often do you clean your contacts?

I just received the copper cleaning product. Didn't open it yet, I'm at work, but it feels/sounds much more liquid than I expected. Also, it says not to use on varnished (not sure about the translation, it's French, so "vernis" translates to either that or "polished") or lacqued (same...

How often do you clean your contacts?

I ordered copper cleaning wax/cream (intended for cooking pots as well, with good reviews and not super pricy), polishing cloths and sand papers ranging from 400 to 1500. Deoxit is quite expensive (36€ for 2ml), so I'll postpone that purchase. Not that I neglect its benefits, but I'm on a really...

How often do you clean your contacts?

Thanks for the suggestions! Unfortunately in France brands differ, I'll have to try and find similar products :/ I'm reassured that this is the cause of the performance loss though, it was either the contacts or the cell, and 2 intense weeks would have been disappointing for a VTC5A! (It's the...

How often do you clean your contacts?

Hi guys, Title says it all pretty much... I've had my first tube two weeks ago, and haven't cleaned it yet. I don't have polish materials, and I'm yet to get my ... up and walk to a store that sells some. Anyway, I've used it quite extensively, and I think it's hitting noticeably softer than it...

    Slow start up

"watt boost" is not a unit of measurement... 80W with a 100W pre-heat, perhaps? I'm assuming it's set to 100W, considering your previous posts. Anyway, stick to the Paranormal, if you like it, you're good! They're only saying this so you know the Hex Ohm is not garbage, and when you feel like...

For a mech sure, but he's using a regulated mod, so let's not confuse him with that :D
