Hey, I'm sure that's true - I don't really know anything about Snus, and I'm sure it is less harmful than smoking since most things are - I was just saying that's the reason given for it being unavailable in the UK which is what the original question was.
Hi, no you're not looking at the wrong thing - it is banned in the UK due to studies in Sweden linking it to oral cancer (according to the metro anyway!)
What is snus, what are the effects and where can you buy it? | Metro News
Welcome by the way. I had really bad acne as a teen, so I know how...
This story is of particular interest to me as I work in an NHS hospital that recently introduced no smoking policy on hospital grounds. In February overnight they took down all the smoking shelters and put some signs up. The result of this is tons of smokers smoking right up to the only other...
Crazy world where vaping is banned in San Francisco and for sale in UK hospitals.
Controversial policy still, but the government is aiming to be tobacco free by 2030
Vape shops open in two UK hospitals to help smokers kick the habit
I use 70 vg too. The 0.4 coil leaked for me first time I used it - turned out I hadn't fully screwed in the coil so when I first refilled it it flooded. Haven't had any leaks since. Sounds patronising but have you tried dismantling it and trying again with a new coil? Also overfilling nautilus...
I think it would be fine for a new vaper who wants something better than a pod or cigalike but isn't confident about wattages etc. If it's cheaper than other mods it'd be great for that
If people are using it with the zlide, ie MTL vaping, that battery is probably going to last a day without...
I have the Zenith and the N2s (TPD versions) - both are excellent.
Just to add to what Anna said about the Zenith mesh coils - there are actually 2 out now, a 0,48 and a 0.5. The 0.5 one isn't great but I'm using the 0.48 one and I'm really liking it.
I usually recommend the Zenith as it's my...
Also my experience. I'm testing the 0.48 coil at the moment and so far it is actually bearing up really well even under chain vape conditions. Its certainly beaten the plexus on longevity already but that's setting a low bar I suppose...
I'm looking forward to trying the mesh ones too. I always liked the usual 0.7 anyway. You've hyped these mesh ones up now @stols001!
Have a box of the 0.4s which I actually got by accident when stocking up. They're OK but they just cross over the 'too airy' line for me. They do the job but not...
I had a Kanger clapton coil loose because I'd accidentally popped 2 out last time I'd changed one. Being relatively new to drop in coils I thought wrapping it up in a sandwich bag would protect it for when I needed it. When I eventually used it, I inhaled smoke (not vapour, actual smoke) from...
On the N2 I found that if I screwed the coil into the base as tight as I could, and only screwed the sleeve back on until there was resistence (ie not very tightly) I never had that trouble.
With the N2s TPD the coil change is better but still quite fiddly, but as Anna said in her review since...
Personally with the Zenith I think the 0.8 is the best all rounder - the 1.6 is a tighter draw and takes a bit longer to break in, but that's a personal preference thing... Both last for ages and are good choices
The 0.5 coils are pretty good at first, but fail on the coil life front for me...
When I was using cartomisers they came in 'Tobacco' and 'Menthol'. The tobacco one wasn't unpleasant exactly but wasn't anything like cigarettes either (was a little bit odd, sickly if I was chain vaping with it).
I was a long time dubious about upgrading to refillable tanks with my own...
God knows our government is playing Russian Roulette with its citizens more over Brexit and having Boris ****ing Jonson as the next unelected Prime Minister. If that's not enough to make us up our nic levels I don't know what is....
I didn't take my vape with me when I went away for a weekend last month and was a grumpy sod the whole time!
We went to India for our honeymoon a few years back and I was clean for the first week, started smoking again for weeks 2and 3 then straight back to vaping when home. It wasn't due to it...
I get you with your u point on pubs. When I started vaping no pubs ever had a problem with it. I remember smugly sitting in the warmth in winter whilst my smoker friends had to brave the elements in winter. If people mentioned it at all it was just out of curiosity about what vaping was.
Then...
Now that is hilarious! Can you even get those anymore without having to hunt for them?!?
You touch on another point though - your vaping style is entirely different to mine, in that rather than taking one hit, I have chain vape sessions. And I can guess with near certainty you use a different...
OK, maybe I was a bit full of it there - first vape after firts refill, leaking through the AF everywhere - hadn't screwed coil in tight enough. Big facepalm there... Still, at least I didn't have to waste the juice with the new filling system, every cloud...
It's true. I can make a bit of a fog indoors vaping with my MTL tanks on 13w, and though you wouldn't call them clouds in the 'bro cloudz' sense, it still lingers. It takes longer to disperse than cigarette smoke so even when I'm outdoors I try to be conscious of that
