Good news....Myvaporstore emailed me a shipping label for replacement! Just gotta box it up (and put the original CS base back in) and hopefully I'll see a new one soon!

Great....some part of the usb charging port just came out when I removed the cable.......sent an email to myvaporstore, but it's 2 months old, so probably no help there. I'll also probably buy another one, because there's so much I love about this thing, so I guess I can only hope quality...

(Before my egrip-510 adaptor and ohm-meter arrived) I just installed the coil and put the multimeter leads on the screw terminals of the base. It worked.

Have you checked the coil's resistance? 5 of the one's I got from Cignot were below the minimum rating for the device (0.8-1.1ohm). I notified Vicki, and she replaced them in my next order.

I figured it out. When I was rewicking or replacing them, I positioned the wicks upward, almost parallel with the coil, this allowed more liquid in the the unblocked holes at the bottom. So this time i took the top caps off, pushed the wicks towards the deck, and put the caps back on. Now it...

So I've git some q's for those who are building coils for this rba....what gauge wire are you using, and coud anybody put up pics of how they wick it? My homemade one leaked a lot, and i found one of the original 1.4 ohm coils and put it in, but its gurggling a ton, on any setting, i can't...

I gave up and made my own coil. First time, so ugly, but it fires! It registered at 1.4 ohms, and there's still some wire left if I need it. Hopefully it lasts until I can order more.

I used the one that came loaded, and then threw the other two in with the six I bought from cignot.....oops. And I don't have any good way to pin the little .......s down to get a reading. Maybe put electrical tape on my helping hands jaws, to hold it? And try to get a pointy lead on each end? I...

So I may have identified my problem.... First, let me say my multimeter just has pointy tips, not those little claw/clamps to hold small things with, so I tested the coil on the RBA base, reading off the screw terminals, and it read 0.9 ohm. These are the pre-made coils from cignot. SoI grabbed...

And......I have given up. 10-12 iterations, everything looks great, light keeps blinking. This is not rocket science. I do not understand.

Ok y'all, I need some serious help here. I'm onto my third new coil (kept the first two) and the damn thing keeps blinking....I assume it's a short, but I don't see where. Everything looks perfect, for the third effing time. And yet my egrip is sidelined.

Lol..because I'm a total newb when it comes to rebuildables. And no, I don't have the adapter either.

First RBA coil lasted nine days before starting to taste bad.....chipped a little gunk off the coil, and replaced the cotton, and it's back to business. Amazing. How many fractions of a penny did that cost me? Lol.

It's a few pages back in this thread. And I don't have a good functioning camera ATM, but I think the most consistent mod, was stripping the poly fill out of a new carto, and using it to replace fabric/filler on the inside of the coil head housing. So here's a Q: what could possibly explain...
