If you take a new atty and wipe out the inside, you will get a black residue. What is this? Do you guys get this too, or did I get a bad batch? Thanks!

Thanks to all who answered, and yes, schaedj I think you understand exactly what I was asking :) I got thru one way just fine with 2 batteries in my carry on and attys in the suitcase (checked) - I guess thats what Ill do on the way back!

Im having this problem right now too - Im on vacation and the TWO batteries I brought with me, both brand new, are both doing the same thing. I happen to have two chargers, and both chargers do the same thing. Pretty annoying! CB

Hi Ill be flying delta and I want to bring a few attys and some batteries and a little juice in my CHECKED luggage. Has anyone had issues with this? Is it ok per the rules?

Ok, I found it. Its funny - I used to joke around and say Id never switch from the 901 until the 902 came out :P I know its not the same company but I said it - so i might as well try it!
