Ah no worries - I kinda figured that :P

@imeothanasis I had a bit of an idea last night.. not sure if it would work or not, for an optional button resistance. What if there was a part that was 2 pieces of thin plastic (the width of the button) with one end having a hinge. On the other side we could put a spring in between the plastic...

Thanks Imeo! I think it comes down to personal preference really. I like a really stiff resistance button. I almost wish there was some kind of non-conductive strong spring that I could put under the button to give it that hard resistance, or something like that, I'm not sure how you'd go about...

So it's not just me! Haha. I'm definitely used to a much harder press on v2. I had my button ring thingy up fairly high. Maybe too high because the other day I did snap the button at the mid-point slit (after a year of heavy use mind you) and had to order another one.. but for me personally I...

Hey Imeo, is there any possible way to make the button a bit harder to press? I’m sure it’s just a personal preference of mine and I will get used to it, just curious. I don’t see any way to do it other than slipping a rubber band in between the button and body (haha no thanks) but figured I’d...

What kind of atty ohm readers do you guys use?

Thanks - I'll look at the coil master one(s) again, as well as that Tab Pro one.. that looks nice and small and compact (I have a little kit that has all my wire/wick material/scissors/etc etc) so that is a plus if it'll fit with my kit. I'll check out reviews on both and compare. Thanks guys!

What kind of atty ohm readers do you guys use?

I have a functional one that I've had for a very long time. It was made by a user on the forum way back in the day, before anyone actually really made them. I'm just afraid of it going on the fritz one of these days so I'm in the market for just a simple 510 atty ohm ready. Nothing fancy...

    TAE (Tilemahos Armed Eagle)

The full SS body that replaces the glass doesn't need O-rings, is that right? Looking at the threads it doesn't seem needed but I just had to be sure. Thanks!

Pretty sure they are viton o-rings.

    TAE (Tilemahos Armed Eagle)

Right? That's why I'm so confused! It's stainless steel and glass, cleaned VERY well.. even the O-rings were cleaned really well.. I don't get it. I don't get how the shape or build of an atty could possibly change the flavor either. Very weird. I'm using the same cotton, same wire, same build...

    TAE (Tilemahos Armed Eagle)

I feel like I'm starting to become the only person with this persistent taste issue. I cleaned my TAE parts again.. very very thoroughly. First I took every metal piece and cleaned it in my sonic cleaner with metal cleaning solution - always cleaned my GG stuff VERY well. I also scrubbed them...

    TAE (Tilemahos Armed Eagle)

Thanks Imeo! Just wanted to cover all my bases.. wasn't sure if it was the metal or O-rings, but I will stop and grab milk to boil in after work today and finally get my TAE vaping like a champ! Thanks again! I'll have to change my signature to TAE and Cybrillion after today! :)

    TAE (Tilemahos Armed Eagle)

Pretty sure there are reports of machine oil still being on the atty. I cleaned it twice and still get a funky flavor. Not cotton, not burning or anything like that.. just off. It's getting better each time I clean the pieces, though. I think the milk boil and another sonic cleaner pass with the...

    TAE (Tilemahos Armed Eagle)

Cool yeah that's what I did.. wasn't sure if there might have been more machine oil flavor seeped in or not. I'm still trying to get the odd flavor out of my TAE. Gonna try the whole boil in milk thing then clean it another couple ways. Already cleaned all the metal pieces really well but...

    TAE (Tilemahos Armed Eagle)

No problem. I'm just trying to find the best way to clean them very good. I'm not sure if flavors/machine oil stays in the O-rings so I want to clean them very thoroughly without damaging them (obviously)

Can O-rings be soaked in ethanol or will that eat away at them? What material are the O-rings made of?

    TAE (Tilemahos Armed Eagle)

I really want to try those coils.. I remember looking into them and they were a bit more expensive than I would have liked to spend... still, I may grab a couple if there are ones that fit the 23mm TAE. I'd be more interested if these can be made at home, though... they almost look like little...

    TAE (Tilemahos Armed Eagle)

Ahh, there we go. Changed the wick out in only a couple minutes (this atty makes my life soooo much easier! love it!) and seems to be vaping very nice now. The taste is very great as well! Thanks, Imo!

    TAE (Tilemahos Armed Eagle)

Thanks, Imeo! One thing I'm still having a little learning curve on is this Cotton Bacon which I'm new to. I was using the cotton pads before.. my one gripe with the Cotton Bacon is tearing off a good size wick.. a lot of times it gets a little "lumpy" or isn't all nice straight cotton threads...

    TAE (Tilemahos Armed Eagle)

I think I found my sweet spot with Zirconium.. 5 wraps of 0.40mm around 3mm bar.. so far so good. Still trying to find my sweet spot with the cotton on TAE.. I might be using a little too much but it's getting there! Just curious, how many turns do you guys open your liquid control? I've been...
