I was going to go the same route, but ended up getting the Lux at the last minute anyway. You will NOT be disappointed with your SS. I should have gotten one as well for a daily carry just so I wouldnt be so afraid of dropping it.

Order 8119 yeah I checked it too, I must have been in a rush during checkout and clicked the wrong one. Oh well. Also this switch is just a masterpiece of engineering. All of the tales of how nice this switch is are a complete understatement.

Soo odd question, Arent the spare SS 2.5 tubes supposed to come brushed and not polished ? Mine are polished for some reason. Never mind I'm a dumb ..., checked my order and I apparently picked the 2.1 tubes ? Sigh could have sworn I picked the 2.5 because I specifically wanted a brushed...

The voltage drop is not noticeable at all between the two, the gold plating is nice and makes it tarnish resistant, but on the same hand it is more fragile.

Yeah didnt have the money for this release unfortunately, I snagged a Matte for cost from a friend last week, and ordered a Paps Friday... Bad timing as I still need a polished to mix and match. :(
