No need to fight...

Nice lol. The Micro Stick is one mod I could totally have more than one of.

Best way to rebrush a Paps X without screwing it up

GO!

PnB tool and proper grit sandpaper or scotchbrite pad.

I have cleaned mine up by hand using a general purpose greenpad without issue. I also use steel wool at times

This is exactly why I like some sort of brushed finish. the enviroments that my gear see's is not good for polished, satin, or bead blasted surfaces.

I can make nr-r-nr coils in my sleep, I'm just so tired of leaks. I love the idea of tank RBAs, and I have lots, but I'm using KFLs and R91s exclusively instead now.

Strangely, my Diver setups (v1 and v2) would work fine on a Nemesis but leak like crazy on my Paps 2.1, 2.5, and Paps X.

I think the reason I don't like them is inconsistency. Sometimes the leaks, but also the occasional gagging dry hit...and very messy to change out the wick, even if the tank is vaped dry.

That's just nuts......

I agree. But, I'm still not sorry I did it. I love my ELAs.

I wish, I had known upfront. That's why, I track and post these numbers. People should know, what they are getting into. I wish, someone had warned me. Now, I know. When I order, I just know, it will come when it comes. So, I order accordingly.

It's all good! :)

I'm sure that they are great mods... but that wait time is just too long....
How do the Simplicity 18500 compare to the ELAs in quality? and is the wait for them just as long?

so what kind of atty's do you use?

I can fully understand your points. I notice that my setups tend to find ways to leak a little if they sit when I am not using them.

I honestly think my favorite atty's are the Spheroid and dripper spiral. no fuss, no muss.

I have been fighting the sophia's, with issues that you have mentioned. I like my kfl+ but have not used it in weeks.

Sad thing is that I currently own a 22mm SnP, 23mm SnP, 20mm D-base, and a 14mm slim tank. If I continue to fight sophia, I will sell off all my tanks and sophia's.

I just tried her again last night and today and started out decent. Today I started to get hot vapes and what seemed like dry burns. I know it is a balance of of airflow, etc, but she does not cooperate with me all the time. I like things just to work and be done with it. Sophia seems to be fairly high maintenance for me. I am not giving up on her yet though...maybe in another day or so, lol...J/K

I have a 14500 simplicity and it is very nice. David recently put the 18xxx series back in stock. i am not sure if they are any left. I believe the Ela is better quality but I cannot answer that. Super T makes quality gear, its just availability that is the issue.

I initially wanted Ela for the telescopic part. However I only use 18350, so I do not need the telescopic part anymore. Just as the BoD, its telescopic but I removed that part of the unit. I do believe Ela is a much nicer unit than the simplicity line. Simplicity has a ribbed body unless you get a titanium simplicity.

The Simplicity, is also a quality piece. But, the two mods are not comparable in any way. Looks, feel, or function. The ELA, is a heavy chunk of beautifully machined SS. The Simplicity is a slim, lightweight, well-machined piece of SS. The ELA is the only 'super long' wait. The Simplicity is not a long wait. Certainly, longer than the website says. But, not painful. :)

Keep me in mind if you want to get rid of that 23mm SnP anytime soon. ;)

I like the telescopic. Easily switch between all my batteries. Typically, around the house, I use 18650. Because I think the ELA looks her best in 18490 mode w/accent ring, I usually use the 18490's when I am out on the town.

The Simplicity is as named. Simple. And, the price reflects that. With the exception of the TIs. They were not inexpensive. However, all of the Simplicities, hit just as hard as the ELA.

I don't use my Simplicities. I like heavy SS. I like 'heft'. The ELA fits that bill. The ELA goes well, with my H1 Hummers and my Ruger Sp101. :)
