Mine have been knocked over and dropped lots of times. I am surprised they still work. So if the twist part is bad, (and they are fairly loose, so loose in fact, it changes voltage in my shirt pocket) it wouldn't surprise me if the internal part is stuck on one voltage.

Probably. I have had 3 twists in almost 2 years, and it seems the QC is getting worse. My very first twist was a trooper, it worked great until it got dropped one to many times and quit taking a charge.

Might be, but I have 3 nova tanks that do this on my two batteries. I did the mulitmeter, checked the voltage and at a full charge, it's around 3.8 volts. Even with the twist turned up to 4.8, it still measures 3.8. The voltage doesn't change when I move the twist around.

Hmm..tape you say...not a bad idea! I have a meter around here someplace, I'll have to find it....The older Twist is a Joytech and the other one is a knock off I believe.

This is a longshot, but try to put it back on the charger for a few seconds, it may reset it.

I will also donate to the eGo museum. :D I have one eGo 650mah that I got with a starter eGo-c kit back in 2011. It still charges up and will hold a charge. The black finish is almost gone, and it's very chipped up.

The only public place I vape is in our shop at work. I work at a car dealership, and our owner says we can vape there and as long as we don't vape on the showroom, he doesn't mind us vaping. I pretty much don't vape anywhere you can't smoke in public, which is pretty much everywhere.
