I have the exact same thing as your $5.99 option. The only difference is mine is Joyetec. branded. I have faith in Joyetec products for some strange reason. Even though they are probably the exact same product from the same factory in china, I somehow trust the Joyetec brand more.

I use twists for backup. I use provari mini and bring a few batteries with me. The standard batteries for the mini are tiny. I keep one in my pocket and one in the car. I have three batteries in total. IMHO, I have a perfect setup.
