If you are reading this forum, you already know how profoundly vaping is changing lives, not only for us in these forums and the chat-rooms but also for the millions of vapers around the world who only know about stick/starter/PCC kits. Please, support this project. Vendors are supporting We Are Vapers, device builders/manufacturers are supporting We Are Vapers - Help us TELL THE WORLD who we are, why we vape and why the entire world needs to be supporting us and not fighting and/or banning vaping and vape products. Supporting this project supports vaping not only here in the USA but also around the world (yes, we already have been promised international film contributions to the movie as well).

We are all quick to criticize the regulatory sector for their attempts to regulate and ban. But we also have to acknowledge one of the Regulatory Sector’s responsibilities is to consider the Public Good. Right now – they do not know what we know. Their information is fractional, often outdated and horrendously incomplete. We Are Vapers has an opportunity to educate and inform the world about VAPING and TOBACCO HARM REDUCTION.

So, please, support this project financially – even a few dollars helps; get involved; tell us your stories; spread the word by posting links and getting others to support this film.

We have a choice: we can continue to be angry and defensive or we can get pro-active and help so many others and ourselves. We have this opportunity to TEACH the world about Tobacco Harm Reduction, Vaping and how important and necessary it is for the world to hear our stories, learn the facts and open their eyes to such a simple and obviously profoundly better alternative to the horrors of inhaling combusted tobacco smoke.

Glad to hear this! I hope many watch it, not just vapers for sure. The general public still has such a NEGATIVE view of e-cigarettes. If I had a dollar for every "would-be" so called "helpful" friend who felt the need to give me unsolicited advice of all of the ills and dangers of vaping I'd be rich. And all of these so called experts hear one or two things around the water cooler and think they know it all.

Yes, it ticks me off, can ya tell? LOL So it is uplifting to hear a production like this is in the works.

On Location Chicago
We Are Vapers will be filming for the documentary at VapeBash in Rosemont, Illinois on March 29th, 30th and 31st!
We are requesting volunteers to help with the set up and filming
Roles needed
(4)Production Assistant
As a production assistant you will help coordinate the crew and interact with the event goers. Efficient relaying of information is a critical job function. No experience necessary just a willingness to help out and dedicate time. PA will be working with camera crews in shifts.
(2)Sound Engineer
Monitor and adjust sound quality during filming, assist camera operator with wireless and wired microphone adjustment. No experience necessary (If you have no experience we will schedule an hour of time to train you on the equipment and function)
2nd Camera Operator
Camera operator to operate shoulder mounted DSLR camera rig and stationary cameras. Experience preferred but not required. Must be physically able to carry 15-30 lbs. on shoulder for extended periods of time
3rd Camera Operator
Camera Operator operates handheld Camcorder to survey the crowd and collect spontaneous interviews from event attendees and behind the scene footage.
Escort Driver
We are in need of a vehicle with a dropdown hatch (truck or SUV) that is willing to drive and escort a film crew around the local area to obtain background footage

We are also still looking for contributions to reach our initial funding goal. This goal is extremely modest for a film of this magnitude. We can keep this funding goal so modest because the entire production team is all volunteer and we already have most of the equipment and qualified filmographers and editors onboard.

These funds will be used to cover travel and other incidental expenses. The indiegogo campaign has a limited time it can run and we are coming up fast on that termination deadline (only 32 days remain). Please help us make this goal, please post the link, encourage venders to support, and make whatever donations you can (even $5 or $10 or $15 helps more than you may realize). Perhaps sell an older mod or two you are no longer using - someone else can get use out of it and you can donate the money from that unused device sitting in a drawer.

However, we ARE finding film crews in other countries who have offered to coordinate with Linc (We Are Vapers Producer) and film segments in their countries for inclusion in this film. redbucket, I am a bit shocked to read this, but if you wondered, perhaps others wonder as well. I definitely know that it is not a "mockumentary", as I know some of the people involved. This is absolutely straight up as what is described.

So in answer to your question, YES, confident +1,000,000.

I am not 100% sure what question you are really asking. There is NOTHING being mocked here. This is very serious. Look up the people involved and you will find ALL of us are completely dedicated to vaping, Tobacco harm Reduction, supporting CASAA, helping vapers, helping smokers get off analogs, educating about all of this.
