I don't think I ever showed y'all this one.
When 67Tele and I were imaginating his different-shaped Pinch ↑, I felt the need to make a physical mock-up to help with some detail decisions and to practice some shaping techniques.
I just used some dumb ol' che'ywood, and/but things got out of hand . .. especially when I realized I could scratch the itch of playing with some woodburning I'd been wanting to play with by throwing the same stone at two birds in the hand.

So, anyway, this isn't supposed to be amazing or anything. Just some fun I had (and one of my in-rotation mods, as it turns out).

You can tell its well loved and cared for. Great pic!

Loved, yes, very much. But she's not had an easy life; there have been a number of drops onto various surfaces. I think there's a reason why walnut is commonly used for gun stocks, it seems to handle that kind of thing pretty gracefully. Anyway she has some minor character marks as a result, but they do not affect functionality.

Hey guys and gals, anyone heard from Tami recently?

I am so very sorry I have been MIA for so long. I just got back from Seattle and we have a brand new grandson!

Really wanted to see Peter while I was there but between Thanksgiving and baby I just ran out of time.

It was sure nice walking away from all the mess here for a little while.

I am speechless over this last batch! Very very nice Mr. Bee and so very sad at the same time.

No news on the house. Have to make some phone calls today, wish me luck!

I really missed all of you!
