on a nut punch?

250 odd watts is more than a punch, that's like grab and tear and squeeze
I know I'm running 133 watts. I did the math a long time ago, crap, I plugged the wrong voltage into the calculator.
Doubling the voltage results in a more reasonable 15.83Amps.
I did try the 200 odd watts at first. I managed to vape it but it was... a little warm!:shock:

I change a pair twice a day so Mah doesn't matter that much anyway. Fresh batch coming :mail:

i think the vtc5a is the best currently no?
VTC5/A makes a good chart and I've seen some on pulse testing too but my user experience in the .5 Ohm range on pinch/punch, the Sammys and LG's seem to have a better midrange. Sony's seem to hit harder out of the gate and go softer in the midrange.

That's just me, I'm no expert, I just have a lot of batteries.

On the battery front, I've been rotating a set of LG HB6s and they've been great. I bought 12 a couple of years ago and haven't bought any 18650s since. 30 amp and they still hit hard and charge up to 4.2V.

Decided it was time for some fun in my life so...

they are good

but the newer 20s by samsung give an additional 500mah, with same amp rating and performance

I bought some fresh 25R's from a battery shop here in Everett but I don't have enough. I was there for a new truck battery and the place seemed to have everything, so I asked. Showed the guy the batteries I had on me and asked if he had any. The best he had was the 25R's.

My wife bought her electric golf cart from the same place. Anything to do with batteries, they have it.

I'm still buying HG2's that Peter had me get a few years ago.

oh, sure
that way it's my fault

;)

I may not be R-ing C; but IIRC, Mundy was the one who first struck upon and recommended those batteries (in our little thread here, I mean).

so, with absolutely nothing interesting happening in the USA in the next few days...

whatchadoin?

I'm actually just starting in on my next project with our contractor friend.
Same house, new project.
This is going to be a large "niche" with a bench seat/storage, matching panels up the back of the thing, and a block of small cabinets overhanging. Like a little cave.
It's going to be done in "ebonized" Ash (I'm borrowing from my leatherworking and using Black Fiebing's Pro-Dye).
Should be fun.
I'm just doing a large (2' x 6') sample panel now, to get the OK from the clients and hone the process.
