thank you for the faces, my friend. :)

Thanks for showing. Takes guts.

I've always been one to view furniture as function over form. But those are beautiful.

Beauty in ugliness

One might interpret your reply in a number of ways, Dan. But I think I know you well enough to understand your drift. If I'm correct, then I would say, "thank you", and "insightful of you". :)

Wow Bee Man! Very nice! What are you using to stiffen the fabric and how hard will they be to dust?

Thanks, Tams. :) There's no fabric involved here. I'm betting you're referring to the leather; wet-formed goat rawhide (which maybe takes Doffy's observation to a whole nuther level?). The stuff is pretty smooth and pretty tough. I would think it would take to dusting just fine.

Yeah, you know, it was very late in the game when it crossed my mind that I'm making a simple circuit, glowing a short length of wire, selecting the appropriate wattage/"coil" . . .. . .

btw (heh-heh-heh, I got so far off-topic that I gotta say "oh, hey, by the way" before saying something germane to a vapers' thread)...

so, btw; I had an interesting pattern with the nic salts. I had kind of unconsciously thought that higher nic% would perhaps lead to less frequent vapes/toots. It was part of that "why inhale all this extra junk?" thing... along with the MTL.
So, anyway, I quickly got used to the MTL, and then the pretty-much-no-inhaling, and that's great. But the nic% thing was a total flop. I've been vaping my salts at around 40mg/mL, and found, if anything, a slow increase in amount-of-time-spent-with-mod-in-face. Certainly no decrease.
So, when I was processing all the pictures last week, I noticed that I was mindlessly vaping to pass the time every time the software was processing the changes I'd made. I was tucking away at that 40mg salt like it was popcorn or something. And I was feeling no different for doing so. (not satisfied, not nic-sick, just nuppin')
So, I sayz to myself, "what the heck are you doing here?".
So, I waltzed into the kitchen and cut the 40 salts to 27.5 by mixing it 50/50 with some 15mg freebase I still had kicking around.
So, and, that's fine. Guess that's what I'm vaping now. Seems to suit just as well as the 40.
Go figure.

So, I had no intention of going there; but I can tell that I've got a new game to play ... that this will be a point of interest for me (this how-much-can-I-decrease-my-nic-and-be-fine-with-it game).
I don't expect I'll see that much more of a decrease without feeling some unpleasant difference; but it sure would be fun to have switched (back) to MTL, and then MTNose, and find myself vaping the same nic% as I did when I was lung hitting 90W toots.

 we shall see, we shall see.

Imagine those of us who make our living in front of a computer. It was easy to go though 2+ PAD, and now to vape pretty much non-stop. Vaping is much better though. I had five other people in my office most of yesterday afternoon and was puffing unflavored on my walnut Pinch the entire time. Nobody cared. Yes, puffing; a single 0.75 ohm coil in an O-16, so the air in the room remained entirely clear.

So, I waltzed into the kitchen and cut the 40 salts to 27.5 by mixing it 50/50 with some 15mg freebase I still had kicking around.

I think some of the satisfaction we get is the "bite" or TH. This is of course psychological, and freebase has more of it than salts. Anyway, my experience with the Aspire Breeze things I bought for the trip to Europe last fall is similar. I got 36mg salts to use in 'em and ended cutting them 50/50 with my regular unflavored freebase for more TH and better coil life.

So, I had no intention of going there; but I can tell that I've got a new game to play ... that this will be a point of interest for me (this how-much-can-I-decrease-my-nic-and-be-fine-with-it game).
I've made it all the way down to... 13. I only mix about twice a year and haven't felt like going lower in the better part of two years now. It will be interesting to hear how low you make it. :)

When I was a young man I was an electronics bench tech for years. I and most all of the other bench techs I knew smoked like the proverbial freight train.

Wow, that's even better!
