errm . .. that was actually supposed to be a 2-fer, and a subtle (apparently too subtle) mention (documentation) of/that I'm getting into chainsaw carving (or the application of chainsaw carving technique). After all, any lamp maker worth his salt oughta have that in his skillset too, no?

Had stress EchoCardioGram today

This week has been lots of fancy gadgets hooked up to my heart

And apparently most enlightening was the manual mechanical stethoscope

Back on the 2nd to work out why I have developed a heart murmur

I'm going to try to get out to my cabin on the island the first week in august. I'll have to take some pic's of my madrone tree and see if you're interested in part of it. I may have to cut it down because right now its a safety hazard. My neighbor kindly came over with his excavator and took down a dead alder for me and in the process a big chunk of it ended up in the top of my madrone. A big log stuck in the tree looks to be about 3-4 hundred pounds just waiting to fall out and land on someones head. I tried to get to it with a rope swing but couldn't quite reach it.

Good job on that door Bee! I hung garage doors professionally for a while when I was a kid. Automatic openers were my bread and butter, a quick and easy few bucks. Looks great!

Now, with this new chainsaw gig... I'm wondering about an outdoor bear or racoon lamp carved out of wood? Of course that's my imagination, it should be interesting to see what you come up with.

Indeed, that's why I added "application of chainsaw carving technique" (or some such); because I pro'ly won't be getting all actual-discernible-subjects type carving. Pro'ly just shapes and swoops n' stuff. IDK tho, it's early days.

I think that the term comes from charcoal. Cover page black and lift out highlights with an eraser

So lighten the strong highlight?

i mostly don't think it is too worrying

but, you know how posting "the sky is blue" on the internet generates at least 15 passionate conflicting opinions?
