Yeah, mustard. You dot it on, and then start the patina procedure.
They use ketchup too, but I didn't get that far.
I don't wanna tell you what I used for a sealer ... you'll tell me I did wrong !!
Hint ... same one I use to seal the surface of the gourds.
I went and bought small pieces of copper pipe to experiment with.
But their composition is probably a lot different than what you'll use it on.
