Make it.....whatcha waiting for? Sounds like it would be kinda nice and would go great with the new wire!

Same reason I can't finish anything and why I have to get back to it now......work. (Owning a small contracting business is a 24/7 baby)

happy holiday t'aint, X-py! :D

LOL, what can I say. I kinda think of the whole week between Christmas and New Years as Christmas week.

My ears are both still plugged up from a sinus infection and I could swear it's also plugging my brain too.

Either way I hope the New Year brings true joy for you, your family, and many more very happy new li'l pinch owners.

For people still waiting on their first li'l pinch, all I can say is, they really are well worth the wait.

The biggest problem I found with the In'ax dripper bf is that it drains too well. Unless you vaping a 1.5ohm coil at like 10 watts, you'll get dry hits even literally squonking before every single hit. Mesh & ceramic wicks do not hold very much juice. They rely on having one end of the wick in a puddle (or tank full) of juice and then wicking it up to the coil. The In'ax drains every drip out of the atty when you let go of the bottle because the deck is concave so you're left with just the juice the wick has soaked up. People have tried using a bed of cotton to keep some excess juice on the deck, but that hack never really worked for me. I like the In'ax tank, but could not get the BF dripper to work for me. People have had more luck using it as a non-bf atty because then you can keep a puddle of juice at the bottom of the deck for the wick to feed from.

Kenbo

you didn't try the squeeze and hold technique? (i.e. not release the bottle until after you've sucked steam)

Actually that was how I was using it for a little while, but it just wasn't worth the hassle. Tossed a nuppin' on it and while the vape is different, it just works/tastes great without any tomfoolery.

You should try mesh in that. Never thought I would go back to mesh, but it really does better than cotton in the In'ax. Just wrap the mesh around the center post and do a wide spaced coil. I prefer 26g in mine. The only atty I use in 26g anymore.

I squeeze, tilt to the side, then release. Saves a bit of juice in the bottom.

that actually has a rather small chamber, doesn't it, B? Just kind of hugging the centerpost type of affair? (musing about airflow)

Yup, a very small chamber. I'm thinking if I can clamp the atty and drill the air holes out at offset angles I might achieve a cyclonic effect, get some swirly action. That's my theory anyway. (Or I might just destroy an expensive atty)

@penguiness (was going to multi quote you but you're on the next page and I'm just too lazy/tired to fetch right now), I bought the In'Ax fully intending to use some of my multi lifetime supply of mesh. I just had time to drop in a ceramic and wrap it quickly this morning before leaving for work. Thanks for the squonk/tilt trick, going to give that a go. I don't have any 26 gauge around, that wrap is 28 and comes in at .98 ohms.

@Kentastic (more laziness on my part), that's the exact issue I've had with it today, half a decent draw and then dry. I like the flavor (and the look) enough to experiment until I get a great vape or until I just throw my hands up in disgust (whichever comes first).

I have had something similar running around in my head for a long time only bottom fed through the center post with lots of small holes like a drain pipe feeding cotton wrapped around it but a lot smaller in diameter than that atty.

When you go into production, I'm all in

I hope it ends up working well for you! I saw a post from someone somewhere, that tucked a small bit of cotton on the deck under the mesh to help. I have not tried it, personally.

24 hours without a single post? Is this the between the run doldrums? I'm used to seeing 10+ pages a day and couldn't keep up no matter how hard I tried. Now, my time comes soon and don't want to miss out on anything! :) Happy End of the Year!! Any New Year parties planned? I know I won't be going anywhere. My brain turns out the lights by 9 or 10.:)
