working towards an oil finish on this one. Sanded to 320, soaked the peas out, cured overnight, dry sanded w/ 400 & 600, wet sanded w/ 1200. I'll let it rest and hit it with 2K and then 3K wet . .. . that oughta do it. Thing already feels like an angel's bee-hind.

Oh, btw: unsanded CA finish means a snidge of overslop on the butting surfaces . .. hence, perhaps some may look a bit gappy in the cappy.

you KNOW that pink don't photograph well in the sun. It spazzes out the camera(-phone). So, grain of salt on the "realistic image" thang.

Lines like . . . ...... ...... ...... ............ ........ .. .......that↑ one are just where the CA did/didn't overlap and dried shiny/not. Unsanded look.

Elaine. Yours looks much lighter than it will. I've saturated with SeaFin; but have not applied any CA yet. So, the matte/dry state of it in direct sun makes it look pastier than it will. Still, you can see some of the goings on with the figure and all that.
