just a quick FYI here: Buckeye is a very soft wood. Please don't buy buckeye burl unless it's either stabilized or there is some reassurance from the vendor that it's some kind of incredibly tenacious, miracle-hard-exception piece of the stuff. There's a vendor selling some really beautiful buckeye/resin hybrids that are not stabilized wood, and I have yet to hear that this particular burl was somehow special.

Also, buying wood without tossing me a link for a quick check is . . .. well . .. . why do that?
Unless of course you love the peice so much, you wouldn't mind just setting in your bookshelf to look at
you are but one of the purchasers of that lovely wood. It being a repeating pattern is what got me posting about it. and, yes, it's gorgeous.
