i'm pretty sure that the Chinese will sell me anything i want and with some ingenuity to defeat customs. You don't need much pure nicotine to be able to continue vaping for a long time and the more potent it is, the less volume it occupies.

The problem here is one of unintended consequences: i have to become a smuggler and a chemist, to be able to handle dangerously high levels of something that i was quite happy to buy before from a well-run American laboratory.

i went thru my stores today and HRH has enough nic to last her and her friend 11 years. i put it in the freezer Ross. ;)

Yeah, Oeter told me Rosewood is good. The block I bought is stabilized, which he seemed to think was overkill.

In regards to supplies, I believe I have a life time supply of nic, and probably VG. Freedom smokes sent me a whole liter of VG by "mistake". Thing is, it's been sitting in the plastic jug for a year or so...it takes me forever to do anything. And I still haven't ventured into making my own juice. Too much going on.

That may change.

Wait, one liter of VG is a lifetime supply? o_O

It's easy. Really easy. Many people make it over-complicated with syringes and scales and fancy calculator software. I use a graduated cylinder (but could easily make do with a measuring up if I had to) and Excel.

When I mix, I take an entire 120ml bottle of 100mg and dump it in the mixing container. Measure required amounts of PG and VG and dump those in the mixing container. Mix, re-bottle as unflavored (but ready-to-vape) in 120ml bottles.

If I want flavored liquid, I measure flavors by the drop into a 30ml bottle and fill with unflavored. Yes, this reduces the nic and increases the PG a bit. So what?

So . .. back to the mundane end of the spectrum (the thing we're all up in arms about . .. . the "nut") . . . for just a moment .. .

I got all the major boring and cleanup boring done on the bodies yesterday. Today I did surgery and got the internal handwork almost done (2 mods left to chisel and sculpt inside there). So, I'll be able to finish up the remaining two (Mother's Day or not) tomorrow, and then it'll be time for sealing/finishing the interiors. I believe I'll be cutting some squonk sometime Monday.

Also, I was just musing .. . thinking . . . while I was out there surgically removing the unnecessaries . . .. and I had that thought again, which is all like: I just love making these little things so much, that the first thing I'm gonna do when I can't make them as a viable business anymore (for whatever reason), is make me some more of them. :D I mean, I guess I'll just make some for myself, or just for the hobby of doing the woodworking, for fun. Maybe I can give them to friends as gifts. You know I don't think there's anything about a hobbyist woodworker making himself a toy or two in those hundreds of pages of regulation. :)

(is there? )

Don't think so.

If I'm reading it right, you've got two years during which you can sell existing designs. Just don't introduce any new product after roughly the beginning of August.
