who can't understand half of your palter)

British slang does pose comprehension challenges for us Yanks. You'll also note that for this to rhyme, "again" must be pronounced like Rex Harrison did in My Fair Lady.

Peter, Wouldn't that o-ring at some point stick to the pin on the way up, and leaves its nice nest you carved there?

OK, ok, . . .. I relented. You changed my mindset, dear Aal. Meaning, rather than thinking in terms of "how does this work when I operate it?", I tried to operate it with the purpose of dislodging it (sort of emulating a "worst case" scenario). And, sho'nuff, it was dislodgeable (which, as words go, is a miserable git of a word), given sufficient mishandling. Meantime, CaptSteve and I were chatting, and he suggested something (that was in the back of my great mind already. .. . because my thinking was similar to that of Cappy . .. hence, great . .. obviously . .. because "alike" and all that) . . . where was I? .. . oh, yeah . .. which I am now employing.

So, thanks for being horribly difficult, Aal! :D

(no .. . really, . . . thanks)

You see, but I have an issue with that solution, that I prefer not to mention ... you will have to guess it ... (this is me being difficult again) [emoji53] [emoji57] [emoji42]

did I mention that you're horribly difficult? (oh, wait, I see that you brought it up yourself)

I don't even know that you're getting a Nutpunch (lord knows you deserve one :thumb: . . . I mean that in the best way, really :) ). But if you were, you could just go ahead and let the post/pin drop onto your battery terminals. That would be another great solution. :D With the Pinch, it's not even a question, unless one were to request it, so . .. don't. :D

ahem :| . . . to be real:

Aal had politely PMed me with his concern. The above is sheer play (and shear play). He was concerned about the range of motion being impeded. Not a concern. I've been careful to set the depth of the countersink, the height of the shoulder, in relation to the CS of the o-ring, yada . . . to allow for 100% full range of free motion for ↑↓ the post/pin.

What's a nutpunch

lol just kidding. Well I completely ignored everything about this being related to your nut punchers and just thought about my next pinch.

I'm not bothered by the pin dropping when changing battery, I even prefer it ... yep, weird :D. But anyway with your solution being suitable mechanically I might as well go for it :p.

Oh wait, you're gonna replace a chunk of silver with an oring ... that isn't good for conductivity is it?

I would like to request a pinch with post/pin drop on battery terminals option please. Wait.... what was the question? and why is Peter punching nuts? <--- was that the question? Also is that anything like slapping monkeys or choking birds?

On a side note, I don't want all my electrons choked off with an o-ring on my pin. (there is a joke in there, but I'm not going to be the one to bring it out) But in the end I always trust Pete to handle my wood with utmost passion and care. He's like a wood whistler.

Yep....Nuppin is pretty amazing atty! Kinda interesting....I started bottom feeding with 14mm attys....moved to 22mm for the airflow and volume of vape....now migrating back to the middle....18mm.....Nuppin sized ;)

Overall still prefer certain 22's but I love the Nuppin for flavor and incredibly similar airflow :thumb:

You're right too Tamer. Very subtle changes in wicking change the vape. Wicking will effect it but wait till you put some different builds in it :)

Nauti my friend..you know when you make a build that vapes amazingly good and you want to keep it in the atty for as long as you can?? I'm right there with this build :) I haven't changed it since I got the Nuppin'..a dual coil @0.67 ..sublime!!

BTW..is the V.1 the one with or without the ledge at the bottom?

With. I think it's maybe called a flange.
ETA: I'm not sure why the flangy/ledgy thing was eliminated from V.2 or what other differences there might be other than, as I recently learned, the V.1 drip tip hole is a bit larger.
