I've tried to follow Peter's video on installing things, but maybe I'll watch it again. O-ring--should I try thicker, bigger diameter....?
ETA: Maybe Peter can rig up a little alarm that would tell me when to stop squonking.
Welp...
I twisted up some wire.
4 1/2 wraps came out to exactly 1.
I get it now - you guys are trying to kill me !
Single parallel coil, that is two 28g SS wires wrapped around a 3/32 screwdriver tight to 5.5 wraps. Coil usually comes out to about 0.41 - 0.44Ω and I position it centrally on top of the positive post a la Turbocad6 style. I also pulse the coil and pinch it together with ceramic tweezers to make sure it glows smoothly from in to out. Then I feed through it organic cotton not too tightly (just slide it side to side in the coil so it has light resistance) and snip the ends to the outer ridge of the Nuppin deck.Just for the heck of it .....
Although I've been using my Nuppins and others, for a LONG time, I have to fess up that I make the same coils for use in all my atties whether it a tank or a RBA ...yep, I'm a K.I.S.S. person
They all vape fine, BUT, what does everyone consider "the perfect wrap" for the RBA's
I use a single coil, because when I tried the duels, I didn't see any difference other than it took longer to change it out ... twisting didn't impress me either.
Basically what size to wrap on, how many wraps, and "placement of coil"
I know I'm going to get a dozen answers, but that gives me a dozen ways to try it.
I have every size wire, plus 28g SS so I'm up for experimenting.
Stupid is, as stupid does

The o-ring is simply to make your atty sit where you want it so the coils are pointing the right direction for you. As for over squonking I just hold up the atty and stop when I see juice. If even a little bit gets out it can cause some puddling.I've tried to follow Peter's video on installing things, but maybe I'll watch it again. O-ring--should I try thicker, bigger diameter....?

Is this the one?I was trying to find a pic of that center coil setup but failed. If anybody has it handy I'd appreciate it.
Gracias!

Thanks, your other suggestions worked great.I think you already know my take, Slots; but I'll add that I make a 28g SS single coil for the wife. 2mm ID and 9-3/4 wraps (just short of 10) should land you a whisper over 1Ω (hot, not metered).

WOW, haven't tried anything below a 1.3I almost always build at .4-ish whether single, dual, 24 or 26ga, Kanthal or SS, 2-3mm ID all depending on the RDA. With the Narda being the exception. It seems to like .7.
Hot Damn! Forgot all about the instruction manual.
