Sounds like Seattle. Think he might have a few being tested in that climate.
I second that, not sure any are being tested in Europe yet, the weather here in England full of rain, a bit of sun and some more rain, guess one can only hope right [emoji6]

LOl... How do you tell it's winter in Washington? ... It's wetter.

We have been blessed with a couple of hot summers in recent years but the winters haven't changed. Some winters here leave you wondering when you'll see the sun again.

Just by design, I don't see the li'll pinch being affected much by the weather. Expansion and contraction of the wood should have no affect on performance. It won't even need adjustment. Once you have your atty dialed in, you're done! :)

That's good to hear. I have to adjust my Sumpin' each season. (That would be two: Spring and Summer. And maybe Fall. Three. Spring, Summer, and Fall. Spring and Fall are pretty much the same except for humidity. So, 2½ seasons.) But the bee made it very easy to make said adjustments.

BTW, if I haven't said it yet, GREAT RUN of Li'l Pinches!

Ok I've almost vaped the first 6ml's and this mod is fan-effing-tastic. I'm not going to mention how it hits because contacts are a combination of BeCu, silver and brass (doesn't get much better than that really) but the size in the hand is what takes the cake.

The button is feather light and the only way to describe it is as a "touch button" not a "push button". Having it in my hand I simply can't believe this thing has a 6ml bottle and an 18650 in it. In a pants pocket it's simply impossible to self fire because of the clearance of the button.

Did I mention the finish? Oh the finish. Any Joe can sand and finish a piece of wood but take a look at the interior and you'll see the true masterclass of the maker.

I have 2 more spots on Peter's list which I intended to use for at least one Oliver dibi but after spending a couple hours with the Li'l pinch I can safely say it's a no brainer. My next 2 #'s will both be Li'l pinches.

I recall reading someone here saying Peter knocked it out of the ball park with this one. First impressions are that he knocked it out of the stratosphere never mind the ball park.

I wanna be like dibs when I grow up :)

My stabilized blue Sumpin' never needs adjustment, even with the humidity here, the santos mahagony that I have does require a tiny bit of adjustment that I noticed when I went from Florida to Colorado recently but it was super easy and I was back to trouble free operation.

Yep. I have to admit I was mildly skeptical about it before I received it, partly because I'd become so attached to the original dibi-sumpin' design, which was a masterpiece in its own right. But after having the the l'il pinch in hand and vaping it for a couple of days now, all doubts have been assuaged. This mod is a stroke of genius.

Wow, what a day it was here! Worked on a rough in from 6:30 to 4:30. Needed to work longer, but just couldn't due to exhaustion. I did outlast one of my young physically fit guys, but I think it was shear willpower. Now what was it I was going to post about that is on topic? Oh yea, finally ran the old AW 1600 down to the point of changing it. (I haven't and don't plan on taking it to work that's what my plastic printed devices are for and I have been working a lot) I haven't metered it yet cause I just don't feel like going downstairs yet, but I went through about 5 ml so I feel confident that a full bottle is well within reach of a newer higher mAh battery. :) BTW, 4 wrap of MM micro coil at 0.6 ohm which is a little hot for me in a modded triangle until the initial voltage drops to about 4 V. Some time ago I decided to take advantage of the fat mid section voltage of our batteries by dropping a wrap below normal and vaping a little hot for a bit to get to that fat section with the vape where I like it there. Gosh Peter, 'member not that long ago when we were way out there crazy vaping just below 1 ohm and we were going to blow ourselves up? I'm now an old fuddy duddy vaping a 0.6 ohm coil! Lol

I think it depends greatly on the species of wood, whether it's stabilized, and how it's finished. My original sumpin' which is oil-finished, unstabilized SP maple burl grows and shrinks a lot more than my newer curly sapele, which is CA'd. I imagine stabilized wood that's CA'd would be even more stable. :D

Reminds me of a joke about a wallet. But I will discipline myself and try not to go off topic.
Congrats on the new baby Captain. She's a beauty.

OK, I had a longish reply all tapatalk-typed in , but lost it. Suffice it to say that I appreciate seeing a master hobbiest compliment a master craftsman. Both of y'all are great.

Total respect to coil masters. Father of MM all the way (down?... Up?) to the dibi-crack coil, what a wonderful journey.

Gotta love the cutting edge - been there before, but this time, there's no $$$ invested for me. Get to watch from the consumer lens.

BTW, I always have a MM coil on a BF atty. These days , it's on the ( ceiling fanned) Dibi Sumpin' w/Nuppin' on top.

Give it a try, MM is fantabulous in a Nuppin'. Drip tip/nekkid either way.

This is my go to set up on my sumptin! It's a little hot at the beginning, but funny enough if I put the atty on one of my metal boxes it's a cooler vape ;). With the quality of my olivers I wish I would have had another spot to try a lil pinch, it looks incredible. Keep the pics coming :pop:

@Bimini Twist prop's for being able to get MM in the Nuppin, I always ended up going 2strandMM

Ok, gots 3 Li'l Pinch (Humpin' for Rossum) <== <dang that just sounds wrong> observations.

1) If you have a battery with the wrap ripped at the positive end (like 1 of my flat tops ) be very careful when putting it in (or better yet just don't put it in) or the silver contact will make contact with both the case and + at the same time before sliding on the case. :( Should had thought of that, but....well...ahem....uh...ah...durn it no good excuse just a warning.

2) Pay attention to Peter when he says to hold it sideways when changing the battery or get used to picking the silver contact off the floor.

3) It does not attract and cinch onto any ferrous metal object (like sheet rock screws, machine screws, etc. laying on the dresser because you still had them in your pocket from work and never get around to taking them back to the work van) that you set it down close to like the OliveR does. :)
