Forgive the ignorance, but are dibi OliveR's discontinued, replaced by the lil pinch? Or are they both being made and the person on the list can choose which model they want? (there's no new list or anything right??)

I haven't discussed that much yet because I felt it wasn't time to . . . yet. I wanted to get a couple runs of El Pincho out and vaping and gauge some feedback before deciding. Other than the feedback, there's my personal decisions about what I want to spend my days doing. Pretty much all this stuff hinges on me doing something that my heart is in. There's other jobs that pay better if that factor isn't pertinent.
My personal take, vaping, is that it's hard to vape anything else now that I've got the Pinch in hand. I've heard some feedback along the same lines. And my take, making, is that it would be very hard to go back to spending 2 weeks out of every 6 making parts that I know are now completely redundant, superfluous . . .. busywork. Should the Pinch project not pan out, then all those "extra parts" may not seem so redundant after all.
So, it's really still a bit of a wait and see, and if I can gauge how much of who wants how much of what, I can maybe slip in a special batch of custom request classic dibis. It's also quite likely that, as the new design starts to make it's way into people's hands, the old design will become more readily available in the classies. This might effortlessly lend some balance to the supply/demand aspect of the Sumpin'.
For the time being, I really want to do a number of batches o' Pinches first and foremost.
When I first saw the Pinch my thought was that I would request a Dibby when my number was up. But after seeing the last batch and hearing the opinions of vapers i have learned to respect over the last year or so I am now definitely a Pinch man. It looks great seemes to vape better and includes some innovations not available elsewhere.

El Pincho made me finally get my name on the list. (And makes me wish I had done it a year and a half ago...)
Let me weigh in here. I'm an early adopter of the Li'l Pinch - I've been using it for a little over 24 hours. (Not posting any pics as yet because I'm waiting for the matching drip tip to arrive and I feel the impact will be more intense when that happens.) For now let me just share my early impressions.. I'll need a couple/few weeks with it before I can give it the thorough review it deserves.
1) It's gorgeous. Obv it's as gorgeous as the wood it's made from, so if you pick your own stabilized, you're going to be wildly satisfied with the aesthetics. Pdib's craftsmanship is flawless and it's got a nice petite form factor.
2) Feels great in the hand. As a small-handed person, I'm very happy with the size and shape. I'd even like to see this get smaller and take an 18490, but that's just me and I think the challenge in going smaller might be the bottle size. But this is definitely my preferred size if it's between this and the Dibi-Sumpthin'-OliveR. Unless they are the same size and I'm just remembering funny. (I do that sometimes.)
3) Hits, as the saying goes, like a freight train. But seriously it does - the battery's connected directly to the atty. If you're looking for massive vapor production, this is for you.
More to come. I've got a few pet peeves that I am working out right now - I don't want to post about them until I determine how they can be addressed. Especially since I'm guessing some of it is user error. So as I mentioned, I'll come back with a full review and we'll try and do this mod some justice. In the meantime, I hope Pdib continues to produce these because he's got something special here.

sorry, I missed the last part before, SeaN. No new list. Another aspect of how all this change in design developed was logistical. I'm aiming to burn through (well . . . waddle through) the existing list with a bit more efficacy. I got a little worried about where things might be heading politically, both on a local level and nationally. I kind of figured I might not have "however long it takes" to get some wood into everyone's pocket (chirrp .. . guffaw). So, from a design perspective, I was wanting to get to the bare bones of what it is I have to offer, and make the improvements I've been wanting to make in the same stroke. I was also designing for a more efficient "distribution of goods" through faster fabrication. I'm kind of wanting to leave aside a bunch of distractions that were fine when time was abundant, and required only patience: atties, dual battery mods, etc. So, it's the same list because I don't feel it appropriate to negate that just because I got a wild hair in the design department. The part about choosing which mod, that's the part that's still unclear to me, as it requires more than my opinion or intention.

my, those little marshmallows are pretty excited. Vwls does seem to have that effect on people. ( . . . and marshmallows, it seems)

Not that OliveR was a slouch but I modded it to improve the voltage drop by adding silver contacts at all contact locations, a silver coated BeCu strap from the 510 to the top battery contact, a silver coated BeCu strap in place of the original top one to the main body rod, a 10 gauge copper main body rod, and finally a BYFO (blow your face off) silver coated BeCu strap in place of the fuse.
Mods done or that I plan to do to the Lil' Pinch.....
It is even more ergonomic than OliveR. (which by the way I was ecstatic with because before OliveR I used a well know boxish mod that was painful and awkward to squonk in the winter when my fingers and thumbs crack at the ends and cuticles)

With your speed of innovation and inventive design, I have little doubt that Lil' Pinch will be on the classies as well by the time my next rolls around - probably a Good Thing™ assuming WA politics doesn't stop you. Say, ever thought about moving to FL? We're just about as wet, but the Gulf is way more tame than the Pacific. (So is the Atlantic in FL territory, I suspect). Now that I think of it, [HASHTAG]#338[/HASHTAG] might fall under the Fed vapeopalypse as well
OK I set up my Li'L Pinch with an In'Ax dripper, wrapped a .8 coil on a ceramic wick, threw in some banana cream, and now I officially have a nic high. Trouble is I can't put this thing down.
I was wondering who "VA" was. 
vapeaholic is doing great (last I talked with him). His series of difficult hurdles left him with a zeal for the real life stuff (family n' such), and a loss of interest in vape gear and toys in general. He said he'd drop by now and again; but I won't hold him to it.
