Some people seem to have ill effects from (aqueous?) VG, from chest constriction to high production of phlegm and related coughing.
Exactly what I experience with PG, go figure.. [emoji2]
Ah yes. This is not an allergy. This VG sensation is related to a wet feeling in your lungs. But it is actually only a temporary feeling.

I had a lot of experiences where when I changed nic level for example I get throat pains in the morning but it only happens for 2 or 3 days then your body adapts. It is the same feeling you get when you first start vaping from smoking. It happened to a lot of people I know.

Any change in your usual liquid might cause strange things whether irritation in the throat or increase in phlegm and coughing.

And believe it or not I used to be a mouth to lung vaper, and after I move to direct lung, I tried to go back and all sorts of problems happened. Coughing consistently. But then u get used to it. That's why I try all the time to keep both in my arsenal so that my body doesn't "forget" any type of vaping.

Weird but this is my experience :).

ADDIT: not dissing the existence of allergy, but trying to show that sometimes something seems like allergy might just be an adaptation to a new behavior :)

Using no nicotine made no difference to my moods because i was/am a grumpy old swine whether i used it or not!

Not using it makes it faster to make batches of liquid, but i doubt i would want to vape and use unflavoured liquid as i enjoy a few liquids i make too much.

My mixes are about 90% VG and the heat here typically means it has no problem flowing and leaking. My Dark Horse atties have airholes you can fit a baby's arm in!
If i make some liquid for tank users at work, i've found that they get the best results with a 70/30 mix.

Trunker, I tried some claptons last night and it was a disaster on a mech. Duals at 0.3 ohms, 0.6 each. Couldn't have high enough power to make them really shine. The vape was too weak that it caused caughing. What is your setup, and are using a mech with those? And if not what's the sweet spot wattage? Wires are 26g and 32g kanthals.

I've recently -that's in the past year- gone off dual coils for some reason. A single of about 0.4-0.5Ω hits the spot just fine for me. Besides I was getting sick and tired of filling my squonk bottle like 8 to 10 times a day with duals.

I have found however that with zero nic I tend to chain vape more, probably because it's such a mild vape.

As for the moods swings I tend to agree with T, never noticed a difference I'm still a grumpy old fart too

I wouldn't try dual claptons on a single 18650 mech Aal, just not enough power. You'll need a Punch for those

I'm running a fused Clapton now on a Tmod at 0.3Ω in a velocity. I cannot dual this one because battery safety yadda yadda. This is my adv mod.

My Dark Horses use 26g and either 32 or 36g kanthal to make the wire and i always dual those - 4 wraps on a 3mm drill bit = 0.3Ω +-.

i do run those all day at work on a single battery, but i use them because they are a real flavour build. I'm a direct lung hitter too, but i don't always want to just rip out clouds. I find a build like this gives you the option.

As an aside - if i wanted flat out power and clouds then i'd use either a 3 battery mech i have or something regulated like a Sigelei box. Those are both stay at home mods.

Donuts (i'm sorry - doughnuts is what i mean!) were limited imho by only being able to be used with cotton wicks.

The notched doodahs (tech speak) look like they'd be great for vertical coils with cotton wrapped around them.

HATED the donuts......despised them! Big hype and no performance! Still have some sitting here untouched!

Hmm... similar to what I tried in my clt v2. I think it is the rayon. If it is border line enough power, it would cause a wet vape to the lungs. Maybe I should go down to 0.2 ohms but then I would lose the surface area advantage.

The thing is its the first time I try claptons, bought a spool of it from FT just to see what the hype is all about. I can see this a real big power hog and would be fantastic in a higher powered device or a single coil with a smaller chamber.

Which reminds me, I still have some mundy magic left that I should find!
